Hi
As of now Biology additional students are eligible for Neet and during application form filling they need to choose the code 2.
Coming to board,
You are free to pass your biology from any recognised board. No, It's not compulsory to pass it from the same board from where you have have passed your 12th PCM . But yes, if your 12th PCM board allows you study and pass biology later on then it's always preferable to pass it from the same board, anyway board won't be any problem if it's a recognised one.
For your reference,
Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-
-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination from any recognised board with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.
†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) Percentage required :- You must get
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
-----------) Age limit :-
Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .
Upper age limit :-The upper age limit is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.
†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes you can definitely do class 12th again from PCB combination from NIOS even if you have completed graduation in engineering field and then you can appear for NEET UG because as per the eligibility criteria of NEET UG there is no upper age limit till now. So you can definitely appear for NEET UG .
Also note that if you already had Biology as an additional subject with PCM combination earlier in class 12th then also you can apply for NEET UG because Biology as an additional subject is also accepted provisionally.
But there are some other points to be satisfied to be eligible for NEET UG :-

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.
** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of the examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.

If you want to go for the course of Engineering, then you can't appear for the UPESAT examination as for UPESAT the upper age limit is fixed. For 2021, the age limit was that student born after or on October 1, 2000 are eligible. So as you can see that the upper age limit is around 21. As you have crossed the age limit you can't appear for it. But you can always apply for state Engineering for which in most of the cases there is no age limit.
Apart from this you can take admission in BSc courses as well or if you have done Diploma in any of the engineering stream then you can consider to go for the Lateral Entry BTech admission, in which you will be provided admission directly to the 2nd year of BTech/BE.
