a student with physics chemistry and biology as subjects in class 11th and 12th is eligible for UGC NET??

Garvita 23rd Oct, 2021
Hello,

The educational qualification required for UGC NET is that the candidate must have completed their masters degree from any recognised board, where candidate belonging to unreserved category must have scored atleast 50% marks in their post graduation degree (MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MBA etc), candidates belonging to reserved categories such as OBC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates are also required to have scored 50% marks in their post graduation degree.

Those candidates who are in their final year of master's are also eligible for UGC NET 2021, PhD holders who have completed their master's degree before 19th September 1992 are also eligible to get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks, candidates having post graduate diploma or certificate from any Indian University or those who have completed degree or diploma or certificate from any foreign Institute are also eligible for UGC NET only if their master's degree is recognised by an Indian University.

Hello Aspirant,

A degree certificate is handed out to the learners after completion of their graduation or Master’s degree in a specific program.  Learners of establishments have to retain the degree from the legitimate individual.

  • Copies of Certificates expected
  1. 10th standard mark card
  2. 12th standard mark card
  • Final sem or final year mark sheet noting that learner has qualified
  • Temporary degree certificate

Learners can obtain their degree statements from the establishment itself or by pertaining online.

After the plea submission, validation of certificates is accomplished, the administrators of establishments will mail the document to your location.

It will take weeks or a maximum possibility of months to obtain your degree.

I hope it helps. Thank you.

Hope this helps. If you still have doubts feel free to comment.

I passed Physics chemistry and biology if I want to take economics as subsidary subject and political science is main subject is it possible reply

Subhrajit Mukherjee 22nd Oct, 2021

This is dependent on the university/college you are taking admission in. In general for Economics there is a eligibility for Mathematics in case of BA courses also. Now you can take the Political Science course as in most university there are no such boundaries for the BA but for economics there can be issue regarding the Mathematics. For that I would recommend you to read the eligibility section of the official brochure of your college and then only fill your choice.

I passed class 12 with physics chemistry and biology but fail in math can I take math as subsidary subject in patliputra University please reply

Aashiketa 23rd Oct, 2021

Hi, they have not mentioned anything about it in their eligibility criteria section. There are high chances that you can't take mathematics as a subject you have failed before. Alternative would be that you can re appear for mathematics test and clear it then in order to take it as a subject. You can always call up the university and ask about it or mail them about your concern. Hope this helps.

sir iam from ap first i have passed pcm after a year i have given biology as single demand sub alongwith practicals from same ap board and now i have 2 marks sheets and i qualified in neet also will i get admission in mbbs in india or abroad will i face any problem sir iam so confused plz rply sir

Yaseera Bhombal 29th Nov, 2021

Hi,

According to eligiblity criteria you are eligible for admission through NEET.

Though as you have 2 marksheets this might create a small issue just while uploading the documents for verification.

So i would suggest for document uploading use your original marksheet, as the biology marksheet you will only have one subject. You can submit both mark sheets during document verification and you will be alright. You must submit the original mark sheet because there is no provision for submitting both.

Hope that helps you

All the best
