Biology
Yes, your daughter can certainly pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) after completing her 12th grade with a Biology and Computer Science background. BBA is a versatile course that does not require a specific stream in 12th grade, making it accessible to students from Science, Commerce, or Arts backgrounds.
### Key Points to Consider:
1. **Eligibility:** Most universities and colleges require a minimum percentage in 12th grade, usually around 50-60%, but this can vary depending on the institution. Since your daughter has studied Computer Science and Biology, she is eligible to apply for BBA programs.
2. **Entrance Exams:** Some reputed institutions might require your daughter to appear for entrance exams such as IPMAT (for IIM Indore), DU JAT (for Delhi University), or other college-specific entrance tests. These exams typically assess aptitude in areas like quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and English.
3. **Advantages of Science Background:** Her background in Computer Science could be beneficial, especially in today’s digital-driven business environment. This knowledge might give her an edge in subjects like Business Analytics or Information Systems, which are increasingly integral to BBA programs.
4. **Career Prospects:** BBA offers a strong foundation for careers in management, finance, marketing, human resources, and more. It also serves as a stepping stone for further studies like an MBA.
In conclusion, your daughter is well-positioned to pursue a BBA, and her diverse academic background could even enhance her adaptability and performance in the program.
Hi, Did you complete your American High School Diploma online or inperson?
Hello Aspirant
Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that you can pursue Botany without having studied Biology in your 12th standard.
Biology forms the foundation for Botany. It provides the essential knowledge of living organisms, their structure, functions, and interactions, which are crucial for understanding botany. Most universities and institutions require Biology as a mandatory subject for admission to Botany courses, whether regular or correspondence.
You can either enroll yourself in 11th grade all over again and choose Biology as your main subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
Some institutions might offer bridging courses or preparatory programs for students without Biology to equip them with the necessary foundational knowledge.
These are the only viable options I can suggest.
Hello there,
Your total aggregate in CUET 2024 is 668 which is the sum of all marks. In CUET, the score between 650-700 is considered as a good score out of 800. You have scored well in your CUET exam. As far as cutoffs are concerned, cutoffs vary from year to year in every course and in every college\university. If you could tell me what subject's cutoff your are interested to know, I will be providing a cutoff for that subject.
Although, seat allocation in every university that had participated in CUET has been started.

Hello aspirant,
Your class 12th percentage depends on you aggregate marks in all subject. Generally if you have taken PCM as a core subject then it is advisable to take an easy subject so that you can score good percentage. Biology may become very tough with PCM.
But it all depends on you individually. If you are comfortable with taking biology then you must take it.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
Hy,
In many educational systems, especially those following a standard curriculum, students in Class 12 have a combination of main subjects and sometimes an additional subject. In your case, you have five subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English. Here's how they typically categorize:
Usually, all five subjects are considered main subjects, especially in science streams. However, in some boards or schools, students can opt to have one of these as an additional subject. The additional subject often serves as a backup and is not mandatory to pass for overall qualification.
To be eligible for JEE Mains 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) requires that candidates must have passed their class 12th examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Since you have studied both Mathematics and Biology, Mathematics will be considered as one of your main subjects along with Physics and Chemistry.
The eligibility criteria generally do not specify a minimum percentage in individual subjects, but you must have passed each subject. Your overall percentage of 84% indicates that you have done well across all your subjects, including Mathematics.
Given your 55 marks in Mathematics and the overall percentage of 84%, you meet the basic eligibility criteria for JEE Mains. However, it’s always a good idea to check the specific eligibility requirements for the year 2025 on the official JEE Mains website or brochure to confirm any changes or updates to the criteria.
So, you should be eligible to apply for JEE Mains 2025.
hope this helps you!!
The eligibility criteria set by University of Delhi and other participating universities in CUET for B.Sc Hons Biology is to have the following subject combinations in CUET; Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Any one Language. As you didn't appear in Physics exam, you doesn't qualify the eligibility criteria for this course.
Admission to a B.Tech program typically requires a background in Mathematics, along with Physics and Chemistry. Since you studied Biology instead of Mathematics, you might face eligibility issues for standard B.Tech programs.
However, there are some options to consider:
1. Bridge Courses: Some colleges offer bridge courses in Mathematics for students from a Biology background to meet the eligibility criteria.
2. Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering: Certain specializations like Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering might accept students with a Physics, Chemistry, and Biology background.
3. Diploma to Degree Programs: Completing a relevant diploma course in engineering may provide a pathway to a B.Tech program.
