For the course B.sc physics or B.sc biochemistry, it is important that you have taken the biology group or the math group. These streams are commonly called non-medical and medical.
The subject combinations are either PCM or PCB; these subjects are necessary to further progress in the field

An optional subject is the one which your daugher has studied along with the other three-Physics,Chemistry,Biology.For easier understanding,if your daughter has chosen the following four subjects-Physics,Chemistry,Biology and mathematics, only then will maths become an optional subject.

The preparation is almost same for AIIMS with that of NEET. The biology is completely NCERT based like NEET.
For Physics and Chemistry you need to do higher conceptual questions of JEE Mains level from books like DC Pandey, Arihant, MTG. You may prefer HC Verma depending on time. Organic

Simply..NO,you should have mathematics with physics to get a seat in CSE.
