Dear Renisha,

     It is not necessary for you to have Biology at 10+2 for completing bio-medical engineering. But a Physics, Chemistry and Maths  is necessary. Biology will be introduced gradually when you take admission for Biomedical Engineering.

After your 12th in order to become a biomedical engineer you have to earn a bachelor degree in B.tech for that you can appear for entrance exam like JEE, BITSAT, SRM, Manipal and VIT. In your B.tech program you can choose biomedical  engineering.

The eligibility requirements are similar to any other engineering branch. You have to complete Secondary or Class 12 schooling with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with optional subjects like Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks.
