IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria mandates candidates to hold a Bachelors Degree. Candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must have at least 55% aggregatein Bachelors. The marks secured include all the subjects studied at the graduation level, without rounding off the marks.

Yes, You are eligible for both Biotechnology and Biological science test papers of IIT-JAM exam. IITs require their unique eligibility criteria for their admission. There are several good colleges in assam where you can do biotechnology .While in several colleges the admission is through NEET and others carry their own entrance exams . There are very few colleges which take admissions on merit based so your percentage doesn't matter that much
