I am a dropper for jee. I got 47 percentile in jee main January. now should I prepare for BITSAT or jee April .? give any suggestions

Vikas gehlot 5th Mar, 2020

You got 47 percentile therefore it is not a good choice to give full energy in BITSAT as it will be tough compared to JEE Main and its only for one college, rather you should focus on the upcoming JEE Main April because it is relatively easy and score is widely accepted.

can we change the exam centre after submit application? if its there, how can change the exam centres

Anantika Kushwaha 5th Mar, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

There is no such provision to change the exam once the application form has been submitted and the slot is booked.

However last year in 2019 for the first time BITSAT allowed students to change their exam center and date because of the complaints regarding BITSAT exam clashing with other exams.

So there are slim chances that BITSAT may allow the changes this year. It's better to fill in the form correctly.

The eligibility criteria for admission to BITSAT includes:

Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English(for courses other than B.Pharma)

For B.pharma-Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

I have 57% marks in physics. But my average of pcm is 85%. can I get admission in bits pilani if my bitsat score is good ?

Ankita yadav 13th Apr, 2020
Hi aspirant
For BITS Pilani, they ask for 75% marks in PCM 12th but they ask for 60% in each subject I.e phyiscs chemistry Maths, so as you scored 57% marks in physics. So that would be difficult for you to take admission in BITS Pilani

Hope this is helpful
Good luck

what is the difficullty level of BITSAT exam?? and what is the minimum marks or rank to get a seat in the bitspilanis??

Yash Dev Student Expert 26th Feb, 2020

The difficulty level of BITSAT Is tough as its one of the best and premium engineering college. But the syllabus is same as JEE MAIN. You need to score more than 360 marks to get admission in BITS PILANI as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank. Try to score as good as possible.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

Good luck

Sharon Rose Student Expert 24th Feb, 2020

Hello,

The Eligibility criteria says that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with atleast 75% aggregate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and must have atleast 60% aggregate individually in each subject. And if any candidate doesn't have minimum percentage in the above mentioned each individual subject then they are not eligible to appear in entrance exam and further get seat if qualified.
