Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
see if I consider the college as branches are the same . Then both are good college you can't really differentiate between them that which is better or which is worse. But obviously nit Calicut has a brand . Nit tag attracts more companies and also placements are good. Being a government college fees is also less than bits. More you will get a wonderful environment in nit Calicut.
I suggest you to go for nit Calicut.
Thanku soo much keshav fr sharing the details
You have companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, SanDisk, Nvidia, Cisco etc. showing up on campus. There are about 15-20 core companies that visit on campus in the first semester for placements.
If You want more Choice in what you learn.
If you start liking any other subject(other than the stream that you are enrolled for) after you are into your first year then you you have a better chance of learning that subject at BIT's.
If you want to become an entrepreneur then the 0% attendance at BIT's will be of great help.(though IIIT-hyd being strategically placed in the IT hub of Hyderabad, has the largest Incubator in India(Thub) and also a separate centre(department) for start ups and entrepreneurship the academic schedule and the attendance policy will take a toll on your company/idea)
If you want an MBA after your graduation.
Bits has a larger network of Alumni who are into Management.
The Mechanical Engineering branch of DTU is one of the oldest branches of this college and is considered to be the topmost branch here. The placements of this branch in DTU are comparable to IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Guwahati. Some students even prefer DTU over a few IITs for mechanical engineering because the faculty is highly qualified and placement record is at peak. BITS Pilani is known for its computer oriented branches. The only thing better in BITS Pilani is the overall environment, hostel facilities and fests. So, choose wisely.
Hi Devansh,
With 238 marks in BITSAT 2019, it is too difficult for you to get M.Sc. Biological Sciences at Hyderabad Campus. Still if you want to give it a try, then the only possibility left with you is that you may get the seat in the last iteration, which is the 5th one. The cutoff marks on the main website of BITSAT are that after all the iterations.

Good luck!
Both are very good and reputed colleges but NIT Warangal and Agartala are considered as equivalent to an IIT and therefore if you have the opportunity to get there it will be really good.
BITS Hyderabad is also a very good college and it's really progressing and campus placements are also very good but it comes under the category of a tier 2 college.
So depending on the college reputation you should go for NIT Warangal and if you are considering place only then you can choose any of them.
Hey Aayush.
Greetings. Hope you're doing well. School leaving certificate is provided to allow you to seek admission in same university whereas transfer certificate makes you eligible to seek a seat in a different university. However they are no different, since they are issued by a school to prove that you've completed your 10th or 12th board. Even if you're leaving a school, say after 4th grade, you'll require transfer certificate which is as same as leaving a school.

Hello dear
Tough choice it is indeed. Going with each and every point, we need to analyze this. Both the colleges have been ranked the same on the Careers360 portal. Both have been doing great. Fees wise, BITS will be a little costly. The course structure is similar. Coming to the placement statistics, well, both run parallel. Highest package goes around 20-30 LPA, while the average having a figure of 10 LPA. campus wise, basic necessities are present in both, but BITS lacks WiFi. Both are recent ones, ISM got converted into IIT, and BITS opened a new college in Hyderabad. The only factor thus left to compare is proximity, city or location. Now, it depends upon you which one you would prefer. Had it been me, Hyderabad would be the option considering the city.
Also, if you want to go for the IIT tag, then you may go for it, it can be helpful in the long run, but BITS has the same brand value as IIT.
i hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other queries. All the best!!
