Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
No, you can’t get admission into BITS as you got above 200!
As the cutoffs are increasing year by year , a score of around 300 would be necessary for sure if you are into the engineering stream.
If you want to do the B.Pharm course you would need to score around 250 and above!
The marks I have mentioned here are including all the three campuses i.e, Hyderabad, Goa and Pilani.
Hope its clear!
If you have already got your seat in the bits campus then there is no need for you to worry.
For NIT trichy your rank is a bit low, so you won't get it.
You may get spa Vijayawada, in the lasts rounds of counseling.
But Bits campus is also not bad, you can appreciate your allotment.
Good luck
Hey shanmukha!
If you are confused between NIT Warangal and BITS hyderabad , then withiut giving it a second thought , go for BITS hyderabad..and if we see eee branch , then BITS pilani is 10 times better than NIT warangal. The placements are also best at BITS , hyderanad. Then just go for BITS pilani , if fee is not an issue.

Hello,
The CAT exam is for admission in management courses. But you have tagged Birla institute of technology, pilani.
But probably you must be talking about Birla Institute of Management Technology, Noida. The cutoff of this college is generally 65-70 percentile in CAT. You must secure these marks to get into Personal Interview round.
Well see Monica this I quite tough decision to make choice between Nsit and bits hyderabad. As both college are good.
Nsit being surrounded by so many good colleges , IIT Delhi , IIIT Delhi, dtu . So in order of companies Nsit attract company easily. But there is one problem reservation if you are out of Delhi then you won't get what Delhi students get.
Bits Hyderabad being a branch of bits Pilani is famous for its CSE and it branch. If it was bits Pilani then I would have straight away suggested to join it. But for bits hyderabad, there are companies visiting but lesser than Nsit . Being with IIIT Hyderabad it gets benefit of getting high package. Only thing is that fees is high. So chose wisely. It is a tough decision.
All the best.
Thank you.
see if I consider the college as branches are the same . Then both are good college you can't really differentiate between them that which is better or which is worse. But obviously nit Calicut has a brand . Nit tag attracts more companies and also placements are good. Being a government college fees is also less than bits. More you will get a wonderful environment in nit Calicut.
I suggest you to go for nit Calicut.
Thanku soo much keshav fr sharing the details
You have companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, SanDisk, Nvidia, Cisco etc. showing up on campus. There are about 15-20 core companies that visit on campus in the first semester for placements.
If You want more Choice in what you learn.
If you start liking any other subject(other than the stream that you are enrolled for) after you are into your first year then you you have a better chance of learning that subject at BIT's.
If you want to become an entrepreneur then the 0% attendance at BIT's will be of great help.(though IIIT-hyd being strategically placed in the IT hub of Hyderabad, has the largest Incubator in India(Thub) and also a separate centre(department) for start ups and entrepreneurship the academic schedule and the attendance policy will take a toll on your company/idea)
If you want an MBA after your graduation.
Bits has a larger network of Alumni who are into Management.
