Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
Hello dear
Tough choice it is indeed. Going with each and every point, we need to analyze this. Both the colleges have been ranked the same on the Careers360 portal. Both have been doing great. Fees wise, BITS will be a little costly. The course structure is similar. Coming to the placement statistics, well, both run parallel. Highest package goes around 20-30 LPA, while the average having a figure of 10 LPA. campus wise, basic necessities are present in both, but BITS lacks WiFi. Both are recent ones, ISM got converted into IIT, and BITS opened a new college in Hyderabad. The only factor thus left to compare is proximity, city or location. Now, it depends upon you which one you would prefer. Had it been me, Hyderabad would be the option considering the city.
Also, if you want to go for the IIT tag, then you may go for it, it can be helpful in the long run, but BITS has the same brand value as IIT.
i hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other queries. All the best!!
Hello candidate. Full form of Mtech is is Master of Engineering(ME)/ Master of Technology.MTech is a professional postgraduate engineering master degree programme awarded to candidates after completion of two years of study in the discipline of engineering. This degree is predicted in a specific branch of Engineering.
IIT Hyderabad is best when compared to BITS Hyderabad for mtech. It is better to go with IIT to have bright and excellent future.
The choice depends on the simple factor that whether yu prefer mechanical or plastic and polymer. If you are interested in automobiles then you should go for UIET other =wise if you are interested in chemistry you should go for BITS Mesra. You should choose according to your interest in the field. Also if you want to choose on the basis of college then do so. Hope this helps.
Well, to be honest best for your future is IT. Nowadays there is craz for IT students for tech companies are growing. Well, if you can afford outside India, then go for chemical and plastic engineering because in outside there are lot of chances for these streams. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
Hello Navneeth, congratulations for your result. Your choice should depend on the fact that whether you prefer IIT or BITS. While IIT Bhubaneshwar has the IIT tag whereas BITS Pilani is a very well estabilished institute whereas IIT Bhubaneshwar is a newer institute. Although fees can also be a concern as BITS has a higher fees than IITs. Hope this helps.

Hii Shubham,
Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani or BITS) is a private institute of higher education. The institute was established in its present form in 1964.
NO, it is not true. BITS conducts the All-India computerized entrance examination, BITSAT (BITS Admission Test). Admission is purely merit-based, as assessed by the BITSAT examination.
