Hey, i would suggest the latter. Because just going for the iit tag name would mean nothing if the course is not relevant enough. Eventualy you will still be an iit graduate but without a job. Take up more relevant stuff from other good colleges. UNLESS you want to do something that the iit is offering. Then do it. No further thinking. The college name shouldnt matter if you are getting to learn what you want.

At 271 you’ll not get B.Tech or Dual degree courses at any of the three campus in India. You may get B.Pharm . 

If you want you may go to BITS Dubai . Admission is easy there but the level of study is not so good , moreover you’ll have to spend huge amount of money there. 

Hi, you have very less chance to get any branch in any campus of bits. The last cutoff gone for any branch in all three campus is 257 and that for chemical engineering branch. You can check previous year cutoff of BITSAT exam for different branches and campus by referring to the link

As bits vizag is a college under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and admission in jntu kakinada is through ap-eamcet. Counselling process have just begun and is expected to end in last week of june.

So, classes in bits vizag is expected to start only after counselling of ap-eamcet is over and probably it is in mid of July.

Hey.Congratulations on an amazing score. Accoriding to the trend from the past few years its difficult to get CSE at this brach since the cut off for BITS Pilani CSE is > 378. The cut off for CSE BITS Hyderabad was 334 last year hence there is a probablity that you may ge into BITS Hyderabad CSE. I hope the answer was helpful. Best of Luck.

For getting Manufacturing in BITS PILANI- HYDERABAD campus, 260 may not prove to be enough. As per trends around 300 marks is considered to be safe for Manufacturing in BITS-PILANI Hyderabad campus.

You may not get it but still, anything can happen.
