Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
Hi Aaron...
So, You have not included the field in which you want to go then...
I should preferred the Hydrabad and Goa campus ....
1) On the off chance that you need to seek after CSE, go for BITS Goa.
A conspicuous decision of the two, cause realities don't lie. The coding society in Goa grounds is astonishing as clear from the quantity of GSOC choices they have each year. Also, the situations are staggering.
2) For some other branch, pick BITS Hyderabad
Rest of the divisions are very comparable, so advantage Hyderabad here. Trust me, the area of the school matters, simply observe IIT Indore for instance, it's grounds is a long way from completed and the shorts are seething similar to the positions, worthy motivation of the IT blast in Indore. Same with Hyderabad, in spite of the fact that on an a lot bigger scale.
Hope these will be helpful..
All the best!!!
Hey Anubhav,
Dual degree in BITS is totally different than any of IITs. It has got it's own advantage. Dual degree is of 5 years and you end up with 2 degrees in a span of 5 years. Depending on your talent, you'll be placed in the placements. The packages go upto extreme ends i.e upto 1.22 crore per annum. It is a great platform to learn and explore in the field one is interested in, although, first year is same for all the branches.
Thank you and keep asking:)
Hello Nishtha,
Based on previous year cutoff for BITS Pilani you can easily get admission in MSc Biological Sciences and MSc Chemistry courses. Last year the cutoff was 259 marks for MSc Biological Sciences and 265 marks for MSc Chemistry. So dont worry you will surely get a seat.
All the Best !
Hi Deepanjali,
After you've filled the prefernce form all you have to do is wait till the results for each subsequent iterations are out. There are usually 5-6 iterations that take place and if you like the branch you're being offered, you can opt to come out of the counseling session with the degree. If not, you can continue to slide up in further iterations. At the end of 4th or 5th iteration ( as mentioned by BITS ) you'll need to go the respective campus and register yourself and get the hostel room and stuff. This happens usually in late July. Till then, you can sit back and rest.
Best of luck!

Hello Sayeed Khan,
As far as the undergraduate courses in BITS PILANI- HYDERABAD campus are concerned, there is no structure of a department called Optometry which you can get through their entrance examination which is known as BITSAT.
Hope that answers your question. All the best.
Hello Kaveer,
Well one way to look into the question is that NIT is a government institution whereas institutions like BITS Pilani- Hyderabad campus, is a private institution. Package is more or less the same it all depends on your skillsets and your efforts and sincerity.
