B.Pharma is that department in BITS which you can get even if you fail to get a commendable score in BITSAT.

In BITS-Pilani the B.Pharma closes at around 220-230 marks

On the other hand, in Hyderabad campus, it can go as low as 170-180 marks as well.

Well one way to look into the question is that NIT is a government institution whereas institutions like BITS Pilani- Hyderabad campus, is a private institution. Package is more or less the same it all depends on your skillsets and your efforts and sincerity.

Considering that the course would cost 8 lacs, it is not worthy. The placement scenario is not upto the mark. Few or no placements are being alloted. The teaching is not satisfactory. Not blaming the college, the need for thermal engineers in the society is less. Most of the companies, having lesser need for thermal engineers, would opt candidates from IITs, NITs.

Sorry but that score is too less for you to get admission into BITS Pilani or any of their sister campuses.Their cutoff is increasing every year as more and more number of students are now preferring BITS. In 2018,the cutoff score for Electrical engineering at Pilani campus was 338. For more details on the cutoffs,you may refer the link below

Hey there!!!!!   Based on your score getting mechanical or electronics or electrical in any of the BITS is not possible. The minimum score to get any one of your preferences is 275 for mechanical at BITS Hyderabad campus. The only other way than BITSAT to get admission in BITS  pilani is direct admission which has the same eligibility criteria as BITSAT i.e.75%  aggregate in PCM/PCB and 60% each in PCM/PCB.  And the qualifying  condition is thar you must be the topper of your board. If you are board topper in PCM , you will get a seat in B.E. hons . And if you are board topper in PCB ,  you will get a seat in B.pharm . 

So , if with 91% ,you are topper of your board , you can get admission to BITS ,otherwise not.

No! You have no chance of getting it. The previous year cut-off for BITS hyderabad for chemical engineering branch is 260. In pilani it is 280. So, it is difficult to get seat for you in BITS.
