BITS is a well known institute for mechanical engineering. BITS is also known as Mecca of mechanical engineering. Its placements are also good.
Out of all the students who sit for the placement every semester in BITS , almost 100% of them are recruited on good companies.

As you're standing in the boundary, you may keep BITS as a option in your hand. But it'll be better if you apply in other colleges too. You can also apply to Chemical Engineering in BITS Pilani, Goa and Hydrabad campus.

When compared to bits hyderabad and bits goa I'll prefer to bits hyderabad because I personally like bits hyderabad infrastructure and i don't think that you'll be satisfised with goa atmosphere etc.
Bits hyderabad also have a magnificent syllabus structures for all the branches.So I'll prefer bits hyderabad.
