Yes, you can write bits exam. This exam can be written with class 12th and also one year after 12th. So, you can go ahead.

In 2017, it was 128 marks (minimum) for Gen category.

In 2016, it was 75 marks ( minimum) for Gen category.

Last year, minimum marks requried in each subject was 12 marks.

Bits Hyderabad mechanical would be good option if you are financially sound. Bits fee is very high after recent hikes but, BITs will provide you better facilities and placements. You can do computer science related courses in BITs, if you want to work for such firms. Peer group as well

No, you can't able to fetch a admission in BITS even you have 95% also in Overall / PCM. Direct admissions are only for those minds who have scored 1st rank in their respective boards whether they are from any board Central / State.

Yeah you may able to write those exams but that doesn't effect a lot infact taking a drop for 1 year inorder to do prepration for these exams will be the best one rather than joining a college because if you join any engineering college then after 1
