My son got 180 marks in BITSAT 2018 and no another chance to write again. Can you pls suggest me whether any possibility to get into BITS

Hello sir,

BITSAT is one of the top most engineering entrance examination. Inorder to enter into this you have to be scored well enough. For taking admission in to the BITS his score should we minimum 300 otherwise there is none other gate for admission into the BITS.

Obviously you should go with the BITS Pilani rather than VIT CSE. There should not be any second thought to think about the BITS pilani because it itself is a unique institution which doesn't require any comment on his placement, infrastructure, study etc.

the cutoff for 2017 was 334 while for 2016 was 346 and as the seats are increasing i would say you have a fair chance for securing a seat while you do have other secured options like manufacturing and civil.

Hey,
Sorry to say but you can't get into BITS with this much score as the cutoff goes very high. But as you have got good percentage you can apply at DU and you can also look for some colleges which give admission on the basis of class 12 percentage.

Both the listed colleges are one among the top ranked private engineering college across the country the only main difference is one is private sector and other one is from public sector. Eventhough the fee structure is also somewhat same.
It is very difficult to compare between both
