First of all, focus on college comparison after you clear entrances.For the sake of answering, there are many government colleges which are no comparison to BITS Pilani. Placements are better in BITS as compared to any NIT but top 3 NITs are also really good colleges. besides

With 12000 rank in jee main with general category you will surely get some of the good NIT 's with lower graded branch and some lower-notched NIT with best branches.You can also get good IIIT and other GFTI's Too.

According to previous year's cut off trends, it is difficult to get admission in BITS Pilani and Goa campus in any B.Tech degree. Although you are eligible for BITS Hyderabad but only in B.E Manufacturing. To know more about BITS cut off visit the link given below:
