I am getting 4885 rank in Mains 2018 and 358 marks in BITSAT 2018. Should I go for CS at NIT or Bits?

Hello dear,

your rank is very good at this rank you have to go for NIT rather then BITs because NIT has good faculty and teaching scheme.it has also provide good placement.if you get admission in NIT then big advantage is that you are in India's one of the best

Hello sir.

Since your son's score is somewhat less than the cuttoff line. With this much rank it will be somewhat difficult for him to take admission in any of the BITS premises because the cuttoff for each and every branch in BITS campus are very high. So better try

297 isn't the score at which you'll get admission in CSE in BITS. BUT all over BITS is much much better than VIT

There is a very less chance you may get the admission in BITS as the cutoffs are going to soar but in case the cutoff drops you can have a chance in BITs Goa campus.

With 280 marks can I get mech in bits hyderabad

Your chances for getting Mechanical are somewhat low because with 280 marks it will be somewhat difficult for you to take Mechanical department because nearly the cuttoff for mech department will be somewhat between 330+ in Hyderabad campus.
But yaah always try for the best.
