Can anyone tell me what should I do after finishing my class 12th

iammohdshareef 19th Dec, 2020
You have various options to choose after completing your 12th. All you need to do is set a goal and go accordingly.

If you are interested in medical, attempt NEET examination and choose the field you want like MBBS, BMS, BHMS etc

If you are interested in business go for B.com, BBA and then MBA in specialised field.

If you are interested in being a police officer go for BA. This is the course which will help you in preparing for varies kinds of examinations.

If you are interested in engineering, attempt JEE examination and go for B.tech in the field you want to.

what is the minimum cat/xat cutoff to get into bits MBA? when does application for mba 2021 start?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Dec, 2020

BITS Pilani considers CAT/XAT/G-MAT scores for shortlisting Candidates for admission to MBA programmes. To be eligible for admission to BITS, you should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in their Bachelor's degree. Shortlisted candidates should have to appear in GD and PI. The previous cut offs for BITS for various entrance examinations are:

CAT: 70 percentile and above

XAT: 70 percentile and above

G-MAT: 600 and above

Now this is based on the previous years's trends and cut offs change every year depending on the difficulty of the exan, no.of Candidates who applied for the exam, previous year's cut offs and no.of seats available for admission. While not much information was available on the official website regarding the sectional cut offs or weightage of the rounds, Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of:

CAT/XAT/GMAT score

Academic profile

Work Experience

Performance in GD/PI

Statement of Purpose

Extracurrricular activities

You can read our article for more information: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/bits-pilani-cutoff#BITS-Pilani-MBA-Cutoff--CATXAT-and-GMAT-scores There is no information officially regarding schedule for 2021. So we might have to wait atleast until early January or mid February.

I m a Delhite..I have taken admission in Bits pilani Hyderabad campus in EEE branch...now I m getting admission offer in IGDTUW in ECE branch...what should I do..should I leave bits and join IGDTUW..

pkp.inutail 8th Dec, 2020

greetings,

I'd personally suggest you stick with BITS as it is a better college in almost all respects, Since you being a Delhite it may be convenient and tempting to go for IGDTUW, only do so if you are having trouble adjusting at BITS for some reason, regional adjustment, food, language, whatever may be the case, but if you look at this from the perspective of opportunities, student culture, job placements, college repute, the BITS it is.

do not rush it, decide according to your personal interests because they prevail  over anything else.

good luck
