sir jee rank--158110 I got sati vidhisha clg ece branch through mp dte 2nd round counseling but Im still confused(sati vidhisha clg-very bad condition) faculty r contractual they r not good day by day placement decrease ragging still there fee 75k Im also got bits durg cse branch what should I do?

Shruti Tiwari 3rd Nov, 2020
Hello aspirant,

Problem you have to face in SATI

1 Faculty is unqualified you have to learn ownself except 1% part of Faculty

2 As sati is autonomous college syllabus is different from rgpv you have to learn from books and books in library are in very worst condition , also quantity of books in library is insufficient

3 Faculty attitude toward students is very bad ,they just to do time pass in lecture teach you two unit per sem out of five unit in a very unsatisfied way also they are unqualified for it

Next the bits durg cllg with cse branch-

Very few companies visited including capgemini, AQ, byju's , Jaro and some of them for which the names was submitted they never came. Wipro are the great options as they are mass recruiters. They have off campus selection by written test, technical test and interviews.

But at last ,
Bits durg is better than SATI .
Also you can wait for 3 round.

why bits cutoff of is not coming down even after iteration 4 inspite of less students qualified in BITSAT in this year.

akshatk 2nd Nov, 2020

Hi! Sadly, BITS cutoffs are finalized at the discretion of the institute itself. Being a private college, the whole procedure is not as transparent as, say JEE's procedure. Nevertheless, keep on a lookout on their website, sometimes they do make changes and you might be able to get the desired course.

My personal example- Last year I scored around 340 marks in BITSAT. Based in previous trends, I assumed the cutoff would be such that I would get Mechanical in BITS Pilani. However, till the last iteration, I did not get it. I was quite disheartened, but at the last moment, in the last iteration, I got the course!

So, keep your hoped up. All the best!

Are there any chances of getting MSc Bio in Bits Goa or Hyd at 266 marks in BITSAT 2020?

ARYAN SAGAR 2nd Nov, 2020
Dear student,

BITSAT - one of the most national reputed exam organised by BITS (BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE).

Now as you have secured 266 marks in bitsat, then as per seeing the previous years cutoff trends, you can definitely get Msc in biological sciences in your preferred bits campus, i.e, bits hyderabad and bits goa.

Here are the cutoff closing rank for Msc biological sciences for previous year.

HYDERABAD CAMPUS :-
Biological Sciences - 247

GOA CAMPUS :-
Biological Sciences - 250

Also you can get bit pilani, biological sciences as the the last year cutoff closing rank for msc in biological sciences was - 265.

So, there is pretty good chances for you to get biological sciences in any of the three bits campuses.

hello, I am getting admission in BIT mesra patna, jaipur and deogarh and also in msrit chem branch,BMS College of engineering Mech,BITS college of engineering all branches under comedk , please help me out in selecting the best between these two different college.

Abhishek Roy 2nd Nov, 2020

If you are getting Computer Science and Engineering be it in BIT Mesra Off Campus' or at BIT Bangalore or wherever, take that over any other branch or institute.

Else BMSCE Mechanical seems a better option. BMSCE also has been experiencing good placements in last few years, with being located near Industrial and IT Hubs at Bangalore providing further impetus to training and placements.

is there any difference after 3rd iteration in BITS 2020 ? I Hve scored 275 but still waiting in MSc Chem. What are the chances further ?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Oct, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, seat matrix etc. cutoff score is different as per the campus wise. according to previous years analysis, you have decent chances for pilani, goa and hyderabad campus. however I would suggest you to wait for till the last stage of counselling and lets see whats come around.

all the best for your future.

IIT Goa .... Mathematics and Computing vs BITS Hyderabad which is a better course

Mrinalini Sarkar 29th Oct, 2020

Hello,

It is difficult to say which is better as both have a huge name and importance associated with it. Most importantly I feel like it is your choice and expectation. Try to choose the one which provides you with all things you imagined. Another thing I would suggest is that if you worked very hard and were very determined to get into a IIT then I would say choose IIT Goa. Obviously new IITs do face a few issues but if you want the IIT tag then you need to adjust. But then again don't just go for the IIT tag if you are not really sure because BITs does offer you many facilities which the newer IIT might not be able to provide .

Hope you got your answer.

Good luck.
