see there is less chances for bits pilani by your gate score if you opted for admission based on gate score, another option is you may appear in bits hd exam which is the entrance test for mtech admission in bits , if you get good score in bitshd exam you have decent chances for admission,

Hello Aspirant, Yes you are eligible to get ME in BITS Pilani. You'll have to appear and qualify the GATE exam with satisfactory score in respective branch to get admission in BITS. A candidate also needs to have a minimum of 60% aggregate in Bachelor's. In this year the ece gate paper was moderate to tough level. And due to this corona situation cut off score may decrease slightly which is also a good news for the students who will be applying in this year through gate. The predicted cut off for this year for microelectronics which is the best preferred specialisation for mtech in ece, is around 650. There can some difference here or there. And it varies year to year. The placements are also very good. 10-15 lpa is the avg package offered.

BITS offers following type of scholarship to uundergraduate students -
1) board topper - for those who secured top position in their respective boards.
2) merit in qualifying exam
3) based on merit in BITSAT
4) concession upto 75 % for Meritorious GCC / Arab Nationals
5) For sudden bereavement of earning member of the family
6) for physically challanged student
7)for siblings - For families that have more than one child enrolled concurrently, a concession of 25% on the tuition fee is offered to the second child until the first child graduates.

The bits does not provide few seats to the candidate taken admission on the basis of bits exam. However On the basis of score obtained in bits exam the fee concession provided to candidates admitted in first degree programs is as -

2 250 to 299 50%of tuition fee
3 200 to 249 25% of Tuition Fee
Other than this Admitted Candidates with BITSAT 2020 (or BITSAT 2019) score of 150 or above will be offered a 25% concession in the Hostel fee.
see your gate score is ok but you may not get chances in top ranked colleges for m.tech course in vlsi with this score. so I suggest you to also apply for other m.tech entrance exams like bits hd, vitmee, state government colleges exam also.

For every correct answer you will get 3 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted
For unattempted questions, no marks given
