Unfortunately, it isn't possible to get into any course in BIT Mesra with a rank of 2 lakh or more for open category even in Home state quota. Though a SC/ST/Pwd certificate can bring you easily here.

I mean the categories depend sometimes from institute to institute. First of all BIT Mesra is not a central government college so it will not have the seat demarcation as IITs or NITs. If any institute has no OBC category then OBC candidates will be considered as general candidates.

I mean you have very very low chances but still you can get some lower branch like production or chemical engineering with specialization in plastic and polymers. So you should wait till the last rounds of counselling even the special rounds and hope for the best.

Well just to be clear that BIT Mesra only takes admission in undergraduate engineering courses via JOSAA cunselling taking into consideration JEE MAINS score. I hope you are not confusing the institute with another institute of similar name BIT Sindhri.

If you are from north india then go for BIT Patna which has average infrastructure and is a bit away from the main city of patna instead of joining some agricultural university if you are getting some branch like computer science or information technology.
