BITS Pilani K K Birla, Goa Campus, Goa
Hello student,
Well both are well known established colleges, though BITS brand value is slightly more than thapar brand value , also which is better is slightly subjective here as it completely depends upon you, in which field your interest lies electronics and instrumentation and CSE are completely different from each other. Go wherever your interest lie , also one decisive factor can be opportunities and placements , then average placements at bits goa for electronics and instrumentation go around 10-12 lacs and highest is dependent completely on indivisual better skilled you are more you get, placements for CSE in thapar fall on an average of 4-7 lacs highest again indivisual dependent.
Cheers!

hello Virat, The betterment of anhy branch is completely dependent on your interest and how well you can pull of the subjects. The first year in engineering is completely same for all branches. If you have interest in electronics , you have to be very efficient with circuit studies throughout your engineering. whereas, mechanical engineering will require a lot of efficiency in physics, mechanics and kinematics. You can choose any of the branch which helps you more with your interests.
Hello Anirban,
For getting admission in any of the BITS in the country you need to appear for the BITSAT examination. Based upon the score of BITSAT you will be given a branch in the college or if it is too low you may not get admission . Hope this answer helps! Good luck.
Akhilesh, I will suggest not to go for bits goa cse,. See, CSE is not everything you should understand that. IIt gives you far more opportunities than bits goa. Even a branch like ECE at roorkee or guwahati at IIT will be far more satisfactory and resulting. So please understand this CSE is not evrything. I am IIT G cse undergrad.
Hello Bhaskar,
As per the plast year placement, yuo should go with BITS pilan, BITS Pilani shows better placement in chemical branch also than the BITS GOA. and BITS Pilani also better in Campus as well as Degree Value.
BITS Pilani is oldest among all birla colleges, and all the other colleges is only a branch of BITS Pilani. BIT GOA also gives degree of BITS pilani.
hello anupama
bits is the best private college in India without any doubt .It is in comparision with IITs.
The main factor which edges bits over its competitor is no reservations which makes the crowd highly competitive. The quality of education, activities, talent as well as placement is uncomparable to vit.
Vit has a crowd of over 5000 per year which is a lot of students. However with its alumini network and good infrastructure (which gives it a good nirf ranking) vit is catching up with the top colleges
hope this answer helps

hey sam
bits hyderabad does offer great msc course ,the dual degree ciurses. You can take up biology, economics, physics and chemistry. Its a pretty good course as you are getting a dual degree.Engineering and an msc course. So if you are into research and all,you can show up yu=our msc degree and pursue research.if you want to pursue something in engineering, you can show up your engineering degree, you will be getting two different certictaes for your dual degree.
Package in bits is like any other.if you have a cse engineering ,you will have an average of 20-25 lakhs as the average.each engineering course has a different average package. You can decide what you want.choose wisely :)
