Hello there,
MS Ramaiah Institute of technology is better than BMS college of engineering.
If you are looking at learning, placements, ranking, etc, MSRIT is far better than BMSCE. Placements for ISE in MSRIT have been very good. The highest package last year was around 50 lakh per annum. It has best faculty and facilities are up to the mark.
Hope this helps.
Hey manish!
Since you have not mentioned your categorh , i assume you to be a general candidate .
And considering the previous year cutoffs , being a general candidate , you have chances to get an EEE seat in the followkng colleges:
PES Institute of Technology and Management, Shimoga
Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore
Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapura
Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bangalore
KLE Technological University, Hubballi
BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore
But your chances are hard to get a seat in RV college of engineerring or Ramaiah institite of technology as their last year closing ranks for EEE were 2480 and 5817 respectivy.
To predict the names of colleges where you can get a seat on the basis of your rank , you can usecareers360 COMEDK predictor tool:

Hey Aspirant,
The placement of JSS Science and Technology University
The college provides good placement opportunities for mechanical engineering students. Almost 15-16 companies visited our college to recruit mechanical engineers for core profiles. Some companies like Mercedes Benz, Infosys, Qualcomm, Intel, BEL, Microsoft, Microchip, etc., visited our college for placements. The starting salary package offered was 5.5 LPA, and it goes up to 12 LPA.
The placement of BMS College of Engineering
Placements are good, and they are better than most of the NITs and GFTIs. Average package offered was about 6.2 LPA which is the best you'll get in Bangalore. Every day, a new company visits the college. Hyundai, Mercedes, Intel, Microsoft, Volvo, are seen in the college premises. Mass recruiters also visit the college.
Placement season starts in July end in BMSCE. Most of the companies offer job profile related to computer science like IT software engineer, Java developer, Solutions architect, software developer, data scientist etc . ECE students are also allowed to sit for most of the companies that come for CSE and ISE. ECE students should study computer science subjects like DBMS,OS and practice data structures and algorithms and should be able to code in atleast one language. Only then, there will be a chance to get placed in a company with 10+ package whose job profile is IT related.
In BIT, the best placements(number of offers and salary wise) happen for the CS Dept. IS, comes a close second.
The placements were good, if not best. Around 40 odd companies might have visited. With an aggregate of 70% plus(provided you’re in CS or IS), you would be able to attend every company that comes to the college.
A few companies also come for internship. Keep a look out for those too.
Adobe(where I’m currently working now), SAP, Robert Bosch, Sprinklr, Oracle, etc are few of the companies that visited. The largest recruiter was Accenture, selecting 250 odd students. Infosys, Wipro, IBM, etc companies have also taken many students.
The highest salary offered was by LinkedIn, 11lakhs, for a testing job. Though no one got selected. A handful of companies come offering salaries above 8lakhs.
