ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jul, 2021
Hi

Though admission in BYNS is generally through NEET but NEET is not MANDATORY for BYNS.

Neet is mandatory for only for following courses

  • MBBS

  • BDS

  • Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and

  • veterinary i. e BVSc. ( for BVsc some states also have their own entrance like RPVT in Rajasthan for state quota seats, for all india quota bvsc seats offered through AIPVT counselling, neet is the only gateway).

-------)Admission process in BYNS

Admission is BYNS is generally through NEET. Also there's admission through college level entrance examination or even on the basis of 12th marks.

-------)ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The general eligibility criteria for BYNS is that you should have completed 12th with physics, chemistry and biology with at least 50 % marks.

-------)Top ENTRANCE FOR BYNS

>>>> NEET

>>>>SUET bySubharti University Entrance Test, it also provides admission in vacant seats on 12th marks basis

>>>>JNEE byJayoti Vidyapeeth Womens University

>>>> entrance byRas Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun,it also provides admission in vacant seats on 12th marks basis

-------)Colleges offering admission in BYNS directly on 12th marks basis without any entrance

Ive passed 12th in 2019 and I want to write neet this year..Ive been studying BNYS but was not interested..in application form wat code should I choose???

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

Though you are doing BYNS your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2

While, those who are doing Bsc and have all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

For more about neet codes visit

which is better b sc nursing or bnys

Megha Bele 21st Jun, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Both of these courses have their own significance, but in my opinion you should go for BSc nursing.

  • There is an elevation in the demand for medical courses across India as we know due to the current scenario we are going through i.e. pandemic.
  • the healthcare circuit needs professionally-trained nurses not only in India but abroad as well. Indian candidates can expect massive demand in developed nations like the USA, Canada et cetera.
  • There are many special areas which needs qualified nurses, for example ,Critical Care Nurse, Officer Nurse Manager, Paramedic Nurse, Assistant Nursing and Officer Rehabilitation.
  • Also they get handsome salary, with years of experience, in some hospitals equal to doctors.

  • Whereas, BNYS, is a system based on the theory that there exists a curative force within the body. It works on naturopathy. All the things taught are practical based. After this, you can become a wellness coach. They can earn upto 3lacs per year. Whereas in BSc nursing, It may go upto 80,000 per month!

you can decide for yourself.

Hope that helps.
