I scored Above 95% in pcmb board exam . But my kcet marks is less. I prepaper for neet. If I drop one year for neet preparation. It is necessary to write board for kcet.

Shoaib Akhtar 11th Sep, 2020

hello akash

kcet and neet both exams are different and have different eligibility criterias .if you are preparing for neet then there is no problem in taking a drop year .if your focus is neet then checkout its eligibility criteria

you need not to write board again if you take a drop year

I have got 117 in nata and 90 in my board exam what rank would I get and how can take admission in colleges outside Kerala and in Kerala

Varun Sood 10th Sep, 2020
Hii aspirant
Hope you are doing well amid covid-19 pandemic
First of all congratulations for securing good marks in NATA and board examinations
With 117 marks in NATA and 90% in boards you have made the cut to get a seat in and even outside Kerela
So securing 60 marks is considered to be sufficient to get into good colleges  for B.arch
Your score can be calculated as
NATA marks /4+ Board marks /2 to get a score
So in you case it will be
117/4+90/2
29 + 45 = 74 marks and it is a very good score
But here also some points are to be kept in mind
A minimum of 25% must be secured in MCQ portion (32 out of 125)
A minimum of 25% must be secured in Drawing portion (18 out of 75)
So this criteria is also to be fulfilled
But as per my knowledge you must have fulfilled this as well

So you are good to go ahead
Hope it helps

Is it advisable to take a drop for JEE 2021?? I didnt perform well this year. What all factors to consider before taking a drop? I got 89.6% in Board Exam should I choose state govt/private colleges in Tamil Nadu or take a drop? plz reply ASAP

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 10th Sep, 2020

Praveen, before taking a drop, you should atleast wait until the Counselling process is over. JEE Mains results will be announced either today or tomorrow and you might surprise yourself with the score. At times you might think you haven't performed well but the reality might be that you are too harsh on yourself. So, please wait until the results are declared tomorrow and then come back to us with your rank. We shall help you with the possible options that you might have. Alternatively, you can use our College predictor too: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
