Hello Aspirant,
Let me amplify .If you belong to Gen/OBC cat you should score 75% or should be within top 20 percentile in your 12th exam and if you are from SC/ST, 65% in 12th exam will make you eligible for admission into NIT/IIIT/CFTI or to take JEE adv subject to fulfilment of other requisite terms & condition. But one thing I would like to add that even if you don't score 75% or 65% as the case may be you can take JEE main and if you score decent marks you may try for: IIITHyd, IIITBhu, IIITRaipur, IIITDelhi, DTU, NSIT, Thapar University etc.
Hope I solve your query.
All the best!!!!
Hello,
Admission to Engineering in colleges of Telangana is based on merit in TS EAMCET. You need to appear in TS EAMCET and qualify in it. To get free seat you need to secure rank within 10,000. Candidates who secure rank below 10,000 will get free seat irrespective of their category. If you belong to SC/ST category with family annual income less than 2 lakhs you will get free seat which means your tuition fee is fully reimbursed. To score rank below 10,000. You need to score minimum 120 marks and you must have 550 or above marks in first and second year PCM subjects as 75% EAMCET+25% IPE weightage is added to determine your rank,
hey,
yes if you have cleared your 10+2 board examination with a minimum aggregate of 75 percent marks , there is a relaxation of 10 percent for reserved category students and cleared JEE mains examination , then you will surely get a seat in NITs.
hope this helps
good luck!
