I got 376/400 in pcmb board exam and I got 97 marks in kcet exam. I have scored 200 in agriculture practical exam what will be my kcet agriculture ranking?

NITIN SHARMA 5th Aug, 2020

KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 131/180 in KCET and 288/300 in QE,then your % marks in KCET is 72.77% and in QE it is 96% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this

Rank will be given

R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.

And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year

You can calculate you approximate ranking on probable college which you will be getting by going to careers360 rank and college predictor and filling in all the required details to calculate your approximate rank and college                                                                                                                                                                  click on the  following link to predict :

I got 91% in Maths and 88% in Physics at 12th BOARD EXAM. But got 58% in Chemistry at BOARDS..(year 2020). My overall percentage at Boards is 83%.. If I give One year drop for JEE 2021, Am I eligible to get into IITs, NITs, GFTIs, VIT, BITS or Jadavpur through their entrance exams ?

mjaisinghani62 12th Sep, 2020

Hello aspirant

Usually xii board score for nit and IIT colleges is Minimum 75% in PCM subjects. This year due to Covid 19 pandemic, flexibility is given for xii board score. For IIT and nit admissions you must have passed xii board regardless of marks..

In 2021 you can appear for jee main and try for nit and IIT.

from general category I have scored 99 marks in biology, 37 in chemistry & 36 in my 12 board exam will i face any problem in neet counseling or in admission process?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 3rd Aug, 2020

Abhishek, to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. If your marks are both Theory and Practicals combined and your over all result is Pass in each subject and as well overall, then you are eligible for NEET. Or else unfortunately you are not eligible and you may have to reappear for those subjects which you haven't passed.

Ishani J 11th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

As of 2019, the cut off was 175-200 for the General Category and around 48 for the OBC category. So, hopefully this year too the cut off will be less than 100 for the OBC categories as well.

All the best!

Ayush Pandey 1st Aug, 2020
Hello,
Their will not be any problem if you are joining dummy school, just that you would require little bit of more dedication, and maintain schedule such that you can prepare for both boards as well jee exam.
I have seen many students joining such way and excelling in both just that be motivated and keep practicing long answers of boards too.

So it solely depends on you, follow all the guidelines provided by your parents and teachers and you will surely excel.

what is my chance of getting chemical engineering in government college if my keam score is 244 and i had 100% in my board exam

crremyaprasad 11th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

You can expect a rank between 6000-8000.by this rank it is hard to get admission in government Engineering college thrissur, and kollam .because the last rank for chemical engineering in government Engineering college thrissur and kollam was 3854 for general category and for OBC it is 4904 and for SC and St it is 40437 and 5062 general 5871 OBC and 39279 SC 39321 St respectively

So if you are under SC St category then you will definitely get admission in government Engineering college thrissur for chemical engineering other wise you will get admission in the following colleges for chemical engineering

Govt. Engineering College, Kozhikkode.

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Koovapally P O, Kanjirapally.

Cochin College of Engg. and Technology, Valanchery, Malappuram.
