Board exams
Hi Bhaskar,
First of all congratulations on scoring 91% in board exams. Assuming that you are from PCM background because you have given JEE mains and got 60 marks. See for securing a seat in TIER 1 OR TIER 2 college you need to score at 98%ile in JEE mains. If you are from the general category then sorry to say these marks are not good for securing a seat in the lowest branches. Competition is very tough. Don't lose hope try to give the exam again or you can take admission directly.
Good luck.
Dear Aspirant,
to secure a seat at SATRA University, you will have to appear for an entrance examination called as JEE Mains. Your board examination marks is not only the sole criteria to secure admission at the university, you will have to appear for JEE Mains as well, hence with both these marks admission will be provided at the university.
To know more on the admission process at SASTRA University, kindly visit the link provided below.

The admission in this college is based on two ways: Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats) Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
For admission in SASTRA University through stream 1, 25% of JEE Main and 75% of 12th standard marks are taken into view. And on the basis of them every candidate is given a rank. The admissions are on the basis of these ranks.

Hi there, free seats are either given to sports quota students or the board toppers. However, for sports students there is a limitation as per the choice of the programs. If you are a board topper then there are chances that you may get 100 percent waive off on the program fee. Hope this helps. Good Luck
Hello Aditya ,
Due to the pandemic , the government has announced cancellation of 12th boards but will be coming up with a proper schematic marking system for the allotment of grades to the students. The admission process depends accordingly to the colleges. It could be an entrance examination into various courses , the 12th board score that the students are given or could be based on the results of your upcoming competitive examinations. Regardless of the method of admission , stick to your concepts and practice well for exams!
Hope this helps you. Good luck for the next phase of your life.
Hello Aspirant ,
The 12th boards are cancelled due to the pandemic going on in the country. It is cancelled for CBSE , ICSE and many state boards. So during admission process and online filling of forms , they will not ask you to attach any marksheet as it applies to many students here. So don't worry and prepare well for the ongoing exams.
Hope the best for you!

Hello,
As of now there is no official notification released regarding cancellation of TS Intermediate exam but there are higher chances of the exam not taking place as per a leading daily which states that the chief minister is contemplating the decision and how to go about the grading criteria as well, since CBSE, CISCE and many other states have cancelled 12th board exams, it's expected the same might happen in this case, the decision might just come in few days, you can follow our page regarding this at https://news.careers360.com/12th-state-board-exams-2021-live-updates-cbse-hbse-isc-class-12-exam-cancelled
Hey Aspirant!
I'm assuming you're referring to the SA, SB and SX streams in KVPY. Since you're in class XII and the results are yet to be declared so, you should apply for the SX stream which is for the students who are appearing or have passed class 12.
Hope this is helpful.
Thank You.
Hi,
Even though board exams are cancelled, colleges that take admission on the basis of standard 12th marks would want students to submit class 12th scores and similarly if the college where you want to study conducts entrance exam then you can register for the same to take admission in different courses there. So it depends on which path of admission does a college or university follows.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
