i scored 82% in 12th board exams and theres no entrance test for under graduation law. is there any chance of me getting admission UILS ?

Karam Vir 29th Sep, 2020
Hi,
University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) has scrapped off the entrance examination for taking admission into law course due to coVID 19 pandemic.
However, admissions will be done by preparing merit list on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 examination.
Candidates who have filled the application form has to mandatory fill the admission form which is available on the website. The last date for filling the form is 1st October.
The merit list will be released in the month of October. So, you can login and fill out the admission form and wait for the merit list to be released. As you have scored good, there is chance of getting admission into the institute or the neighbouring campuses as all the colleges are participating which comes under the UILS.

I have got 89 marks in ap eamcet 2020.and 954/1000 in board exams.what rank should i get as a general candidate?

Ritik goyal 28th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As you know that rank is based on the marks and here in AP EAMCET marks is based on the AP EAMCET marks and Board Marks of subjects only Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (including practical’s) of Class 12 th .  So I am assuming that you give you board marks of only these subjects which I have mentioned above and total paper is of 1000. So according to this your rank would be approx. 7,000 for engineering category and 6,000 for Medical and Agriculture category.

What does JEE Mains Qualified candidate mean? This year i saw 75% criteria for board exams being dropped for NIT admission for JEE Mains Qualified candidate. I got 83 percentile in jee mains so did i qualify?

ARYAN SAGAR 25th Sep, 2020
Dear student,

Every year in JEE mains there is a qualifying cutoff score or percentile.
If your JEE mains score is greater than these cutoff percentile scores then you are said to be qualified in JEE Mains and you are also eligible to give JEE advanced exam.

Basically in simple words you can give JEE advanced exam only when you, qualify the JEE mains exam.

Now as you told that you have got 83 percentile in JEE mains then you should properly mention your category that in which category you have got 83 percentile score.

This year the qualifying cut off percentile score set by NTA in JEE mains for general candidates was around 90 percentile. So if you are a General candidate then sorry you are not qualified in JEE mains and thus you are not eligible to give Jee advanced exam. For OBC ,SC , ST, general ews and pwd category  candidates, the qualifying cutoff percentile scores is respectively around 72, 50, 39, 70 and 0.1. So if you belong to these categories, then you are qualified in JEE mains exam 2020 and you are eligible to give JEE advanced.

As now the 75% in class 12th board exam criteria is relieved (just you have to pass in your class 12th exams ) but still you must qualify the JEE mains, for becoming eligible to give jee advanced.

i am studying 12th standard ,i am average at maths .but now i want to score 70 in my board exams .can anyone help me to score 70 in maths.plzzz.

Shreya Singh Student Expert 22nd Sep, 2020

Hello student,

As you are average in maths then the only things which can save you is practice. But before practice you can analyse last few years papers that from which section how many questions are there in paper. Questions having more weightage from a chapter might help you to get good score with less hardwork. Also analyse the type of questions which are asked in the exam and practice those type of questions.

Hope this helps.
