I got 96 percentile in telangana state board exams and 80 percentile in jee, may I expect seat in srm or vit in cse branch?

Saicharan Ballani 5th Aug, 2020

Hi Rahul,

Both srm and Vit are famous colleges in India they conduct their own online exams SRMJEE and VITEEE, But due to this pandamic we can expect the admission through jee and state board exam marks but we have to wait and see for the official notice from the colleges.if they provide admission on jee and state board marks, depending on the competition of the students who apply for the college for the cse branch we can decide the weather we get seat or not. Firstly when we get the official notice apply for the respected branch. There will be more chances to get seat in any one college.

All the best for your bright future.

what about 10th board exams result??

Pankhuri Kumari 25th Jun, 2020
Hii!
Sorry, but you haven't mentioned the name of the education board for which you have asked about the class 10th results. Please restructure your question and ask again including the necessary details and mentioning whether it is any state board or Central board such as cbse or ICSE.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hi,I have scored 87.85 percentile in jee mains and 88.66 percentage in my board exams and I belong to OBC category will I get nit in Tamil Nadu , Karnataka or in Hyderabad.

Hi aspirant,

This year the eligibility criteria required for getting admission into IITs, NITs and CFTIs has been removed. Now students don't need to score 75+ percentage or being in top 20 percentile. They only need to get passing certificate. So your board percentage doesn't matter this year.

Now the NITs which you have mentioned above are one of the finest college of the country. Their cutoff is very high and you need a very good rank to get admission there.

You have scored 87.85 percentile which is not a good score. With such percentile your Common Rank list rank would be 150000 and OBC category rank would be 43000. This is not much to fetch you those NITs.

Work hard and do better next time.

Hope it helps and feel free to ask more.

I have got 730 Marks in board exams am I eligible for nit

Anurag Khanna 21st Jun, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned about the name of board for which you are enquiring so it is little bit difficult to predict that whether you are eligible for admission to NITs or not.

For admission to NITs you have to appear for JEE-Main and should score good marks in order to get good NIT. According to the eligibility criteria prescribed by National Testing Agency for JEE-Main, the candidate should have secured minimum 75% marks in 10+2 with physics, mathematics and chemistry as an important subjects in his/her respective state or central board or should have their name in top 20 percentile of results of that board.

You can predict your chances according to the eligibility criteria described above. If you are facing any difficulties than please help us out with the name of board and we will be happy to assist you.

For more details about JEE-Main you should refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

I got 949out of 1000in board exams and I have scored 83.4percentile in Jee mains (of category)

Anantika Kushwaha 18th Jun, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

Since you got 83.4 percentile in JEE Main 2020 hour rank will be

Rank= (100-83.4)869010/100

So your rank will come out to be 1,44,255. With your tank it is not possible to get admission in NITs or IIITs via JEE Main. However you're eligible for giving JEE Advanced exam.

You can predict your college through JEE Main here.

Will I get CSE in SASTRA, Thanjavur with 94.62 percentile in JEE Mains and 10/10 GPA in ANDHRA PRADESH Board exams?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 17th Jun, 2020

hi,

sastra takes admission based on two type of admission process.

stream 1 -jee main score =12th course, now your jee main score is decent and have good score in 12th, 75% of seats will be filled through stream 1 mode, in stream 1 mode, 75% weightage is for 12th score and 25% weightage is for jee main score, however at this score you have fair chances for cse in sastra, but jee main july session exam is yet to held and cutoff varies time to time based on number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc.

however try to relax and lets see what comes around.

Can i get admission in thapar Institute of engineering and technology in computer science branch with 91.86 percentile in jee mains and 65% in 12th board exams and I am from haryana

PARESH RATHOUR 25th Jul, 2020

Hello

Thapar University, TIET Patiala, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and TU Patiala.

The minimum marks required to get into Thapar University in is to have 20% marks in JEE Mains that is scoring minimum of 72 marks will make you eligible for admission.

But you will not getting any Core Branches.

Also if your marks are around 90 don't expect seat from direct counselling.

You will get seat during Final In-Person On the Spot Counseling.

I am giving you the cutoff of ranks and marks that were published by Thapar University:

Branch cutoff (outside punjab) cutoff (punjab)

Chemical Engineering 213608 (55) 261281 (49)

Civil Engineering 146795 (65) 300069 (45)

Computer Engineering 32471 (125) 86452 (84)

Computer Science and Engineering 46770 (109) 223247 (53)

(At Derabassi Campus)

Electronics and Communication 57903 (100) 303136 (45)

Engineering

Electrical Engineering 112167 (75) 280141 (46)

Mechanical Engineering 78847 (87) 291238 (45)

So, to be at a safer position of getting admission, I would prefer you to score anything above 75 Percentile, if you are not from Punjab. Now if you are from punjab, score anything about 70 percentile would work .

All the Best!

This question is regarding the eligibility criteria for jee mains 1.Will they consider only second year or both years in ap intermediate board exams 2.total five subjects are considered for jee mains maths, physics, chemistry and a lang and other , how is this satisfied for ap board ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Jun, 2020

JEE Mains has no minimum aggregate per se. But for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, you should have completed your 12th in Physics, Mathematics and anyone among Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a Technical Vocational Subject. These subjects should be for both Intermediate 1st year and 2nd year. You should have Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. Can have either Chemistry or Biology, Biotechnology or a Technical Vocational Subject as the 3rd subject and there is a Language which is English. The other subject can be your 2nd language. Like Sanskrit or Hindi or Telugu. That can be anything. And you should secure a minimum aggregate of 75% in your 12th if you belong to General Category and 65% if you belong to Reserved Categories. https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria
