What will be my rank if i scored 118 in PCM KCET exam and 295/300 in PCM board exams

Anurag Khanna 3rd Jul, 2022

Hello Sir,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank based on your given marks because the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

And some more factors, therefore your son's actual rank in KCET 2022 might vary with slight variations.

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question his rank in KCET 2022 is expected to be in the range of  1000-1500 .

But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

I have got 96.5 percentile in JEE main and 97.6 % in board exams. Is there any possibility of getting admission in NIT Trichy

Sajal Trivedi 8th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

If you are from the general category then  you will find it challenging to get admission to NIT Trichy with this percentile. With 96.5 percentile it is very difficult for general category student to get nit Trichy. If you are from the OBC, SC, or ST categories, you may be able to get a seat there, but branch will still be an issue. Even if you do not get into nit trichy, you can aim for other nits where you may have a better chance of admission.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

Anurag Khanna 24th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to predict your exact rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon certain factors such as number of candidates appearing for the examination, top score of that particular year and so on.

However based on previous year's analysis, as per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in KCET 2022 is expected to be in the range of 10000-20000.

But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

Im planning on giving my 2nd puc board exams as a private candidate and also write kcet and jee next year. Will there be practical exams for me and if not will it affect my kcet ranking?

Kushagra Singh 20th Jul, 2022

Hi,

I hope you are doing good. As you are giving your second attempt as a private candidate, you will be required to register for the board exam through there official website. After successful registration, you will be asked to submit certain important documents like ID proof, latest photograph etc. and might includes your this year result.

But you will have chance to better perform this year, and your best marks from both will be considered. You do not need to re-attempt the practicals, and your previous marks will be forwarded this time.

Yes, you will be eligible for the the entrance exams like JEE, as they have set there criteria from minimum 75% to just need to pass plus two. But, it is recommended to score well as it will help you greatly in future.

All the best.

I got 285 marks in board exams and 65 marks in KCET from PCM what will be my rankings plz tell me...

Farhan jaffer 22nd Jun, 2022

Hi, CHINNUHEMANTH373

Now we know that

Rank will be given according to the formula

R= {(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

with 65 marks in KCET you're having a percentage of 36.11% ((65/180)*100)

& then in boards you have a percentage of 95 % ((285/300)*100)

adding both percentages you have a total of 95+36.11= 131.11

so you're rank should be around 241-260

However Any marks above 155 in KCET will guarantee you a rank below 100 ..
All the best!!

what is the ranking i got 15 in physics , 22 in maths and 18 in chemistry , even i got 91% in board exams

dhanshree1501 19th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

According to the information you provided in the question, your overall score in KCET 2021 will be 50.

According on the calculations above, your KCET 2021 rank is projected to be in the 30000-40000 range. However, keep in mind that this is not your precise rank because it has not yet been announced, and the position predicted above is based on statistics from the prior year.

As the rank Vs marks fluctuate based on a variety of criteria such as:

The number of candidates who took the exam.

The highest score for that year.

This is the total number of seats that are available.

As a result of these and other variables, your actual KCET 2021 rank may differ slightly.

You can use KCET 2021 College Predictor toll to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your KCET 2021 rank. You can use KCET College predictor from the link given below :-https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor

i have scored 62/180 in kcet and 216/300 in board exams ....what rank can i expect in kcet

lakshmi anandakumar 18th Jun, 2022

Hi, so your kcet score is (62/180)*100=34.4%. Then you pcm score is (216/300)*100=72%.

Therefore,

Rank will be given as,

R= {(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

Which is,

(34.4+72)/200*100=53.2%

You can probably expect any rank from 10,000 to 20,000.
