Shiva saketh 13th Sep, 2020

Hello student,

The eligibility criteria for admission into AIIMS through NEET is the student should have qualified Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an aggregate of 60% for general/OBC category and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The overall percentage for a student to write NEET is 55%. so, I don't think you are eligible.

If you want any other information regarding the eligibility criteria or any other information regarding NEET or AIIMS you can go through this link.

I ve chose IP as my optional in 11th. Is IP a difficult subject? Is it easy to score good marks in IP in my 12 th board? How can choosing IP facilitate my prep for neet in comparison with maths?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 4th Aug, 2020

If you meant Information Practises when you said IP, it helps you understand Computer software, database, coding, etc. You will get to learn JAVA, HTML, Software languages, etc in this subject. How you perceive a subject to be difficult or easy depends on your preparation and interest on that subject. This is completely different to Maths. Having said that because IP and NEET are 2 different subjects with different outreaches, you cannot compare them. But selecting IP in a way is much easier than selecting a core subject like Mathematics for the amount of practise it needs. This doesnt mean that IP needs no practise. What you will learn in your 11th or 12th will be easier than what you learn at a Graduation level. So you can select IP as an optional subject and still prepare for NEET. If you are preparing for NEET 2021 or beyond, luckily for you the syllabus for NEET is being revised and reduced which means that the burden is going to be lesser. So sticking to NCERT and following every day's syllabus religiously will help you get a seat in MBBS.

Harshit 4th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

It's realy a very less marks, but Ofcourse you can get a chance for engineering. It depends on your JEE main Rank along with state councelling. I will suggest you for apply in private collage in which I am also studying in.

You must need, 10+2in PCM subjects with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category)

Their also is JEE main cutoff what is same valuable to get a best branch.

Use our JEE Mains college predictor tool .

i m a pcb student i would like to complete maths from nios on demand examination and after doing so m i eligible for bsc it through mu as for bsc it. will mu consider my maths marks from nios and other subjects from hsc board for admission

Vinayak Thapar 13th Sep, 2020

Hi,

Yes you can clear your maths from NIOS. If you clear your Maths from NIOS then you will be eligible for taking admission. Regarding your second question yes both your HSC marks for other subjects and your NIOS maths marks will be valid. Doing Maths from NIOS is convenient and recognised.
