Hi, sir I have scoed 249/300 in pcb and 221/300 in pcm in board and 66/180 in pcb and 45/180 in pcm in kcet and I belong to category 3A what will be my ranking and in which field may I get free seat

NITIN SHARMA 3rd Aug, 2020

KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 131/180 in KCET and 288/300 in QE,then your % marks in KCET is 72.77% and in QE it is 96% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this

Rank will be given

R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100

Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.

And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year

from general category I have scored 35 marks in physics, 35 marks in chemistry and 99 in biology in 12 board, will I face any problem in neet counseling or document verification or in admission process

NITIN SHARMA 3rd Aug, 2020

Hi , as per the marks you have mentioned I would like to tell you that those are definitely very low but you are scoring approximately 54% . According to that you can eligible to appear in NEET exam . As per neet Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Along with that neet eligibility marks to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects . For UR - 50%
OBC/SC/ST- 40%
PWD-45%
Remember to get a seat in government medical college is all about your marks scored in NEET alone .
