Hello bharat ,
Good to see you here,
As the highest and lowest marks change every year, the range of marks vs rank will also change accordingly. Here is the expected analysis of KCET marks vs rank 2020.
From the based on your marks you may get a rank range around 10,000-40,000.
It is not exactly.
You may a get good rank too.
I think this information will help you.
THANK YOU.
Hello,
It completely depends on the number of students applying in the college and the percentage they have scored at HSC level. If there are a number students who have scored more than you, you will have the chances of coming in the waiting list. If luckily the number of students applying for the particular course are less and percentage scored by them is less or equivalent to yours, your name might appear in the merit list.
Hope this helps!
All the best!
hi,
see your percentage in 12th score is quite less and at this score it is quite difficult to get admission in any tier 1 college. also for placement in many mnc company in the final year of engineering , your academic score should be above of 60 percentage to become shortlisted for recruitment process. to get admission in tier 1 college you have to appear in entrance exams like jee main or state wise entrance test.
you may appear in TNEA counselling process where admission is based on 12th score.
hope you may understand.
Hello student
You need not to worry at all if you have laminated your mark-sheets.
Colleges only ask for xerox copy of certificates. So just have xerox copies with you and present them when asked by authorities.
Lamination is done for the safety of documents and is there no harm if done by you.
You will not face any problem.
Hope this information helps you.
Feel free to drop your comments.
Thanks
If you are asking about the fees of medical colleges then it varies. For example it is less than 1 lakh(sometimes a few thousands) for Government colleges, while for private colleges it is upto 15 to 12 lakhs and sometimes even more than that, annually.
Can you tell us where you want to upload your board marks.
Btw you can scan your marksheet and upload anywhere you want to upload it.
You have scored a decent marks in board that is about 80%. But as we all know we don't get admission in Engineering or medical college through our board marks. So we all attempt different entrance exam to get admission in different college. KCET is one of them.
KCET is one of the entrance exam through which a local candidate of Karnataka can get admission in different stream like Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy in Government or private college of Karnataka.
Eligibility criteria :- candidates must have passed with minimum 50% marks in the 2 nd PUC/12 th standard or equivalent exam to appear for the exam. Also, they must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects in their secondary education.
There are more than 200 colleges accepting KCET scores. Based on the marks secured candidates will be allotted seats into the institutes. Aspirants seeking admission in architecture courses must qualify JEE Main (Paper 2) or NATA and then they can participate in KCET 2020 Counselling. KEA will conduct KCET Agriculture Practical Test for those candidates who are seeking admission under Agriculturist Quota in Farm Universities. The test on “Identification of Agriculture Related Specimens” is held to claim seat under the quota .
The cutoff of KCET 2020 will consist of the ranks that a candidate has to secure for getting admission. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the cutoff after the end of each counselling round.
As you have scored only 60 marks in KCET , so you find some difficulties in getting admission on the basis of this marks because the minimum qualifying marks for general category is 50%. As predicated by me your rank on 60 marks is about in range of 18000-22000.
KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 131/180 in KCET and 288/300 in QE,then your % marks in KCET is 72.77% and in QE it is 96% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this
Rank will be given
R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100
Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.
And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year
