Yes since NIOS is a recognised educational board , it's marks are valid for JEE mains , and since admission for IIT demands 75% or more in 10+2 Science from any recognised educational board you need to have at least 75 % marks in 10+2 science.

It doesnt matter if you have studied from cbse, isc, state board or nios you need at least 75% marks in aggregate or fall in the top 20 percentile of Class 12 th qualifying exam of your state or central board of education to be eligible for JEE Main

see in west bengal the engineering / btech seats for government and private colleges fills by wbjeeb score. now coming to the jee main reservation, around 5 % seats reserve for jee main. so it is quite difficult to predict in which college you may get admission in mechanical

The eligibility criteria for admission in NITs requires a candidate to have 75% marks in 12th board (65% SC/ST) or be in top 20 percentile.Since you have less than 75% you will not be eligible for admission in NITs,IIIT,GFTIs and also IITs.You can take admission other private
