can i get a nit seat for 80 percentile for food engineering can i get seat in iifpt with 80 percentile .is nit better for food engineering or iifpt .will iifpt consider 2nd mains .will the fee get reduced with having 97 % in inter board and 80 % in paper 1 mains 202

Afifa 10th Jul, 2020

Hi,

Percentiles are very misleading if not analysed properly. 80 percentiles converts to a rank of about 1.72 lakh. Your actual marks might probably be around 70– 80 . At such marks and ranks, you won't get any NITs .

With such score you have some chances to get seat in iifpt with food engineering .

It's always preferred to pursue in IIFPT as you will get the best research exposure as I explained early, IIFPT is the best institute for Food Processing Engineering and Food Science and Technology.

NIT's and IIFPT's does not take board examination marks , they consider 80% of JEE Mains score and 20% of board examination  in intermediate . so , fee wil be based on your mains score .

So , better luck for the next mains examination, hope for the best result

if I get 90 percent in board in 50 in kcet what rank can I expect

Soumili Majumdar 31st May, 2020
Hello there,
KCET percentile is calculated with the formula-
Percentile= 50% of KCET percentile + 50% of boards.
Therefore, according to your marks, your percentile is 58.9
Now, this percentile will determine your rank. Analysing the previous year data, your rank will be 40-50k approximately.
You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you with this rank. The link is given below:

I got 60 out of 100 in 60:40 board and gujcet so I want to know my rank of acpc admission rank

Soumili Majumdar 31st May, 2020
Hello there,
Analysing the previous year data, for 60 percentile, your rank will be 25-28k approximately. The 'rank vs percentile' changes every year depending on factors like difficulty of the paper, and the no.of students appearing in it. So we cannot predict the exact rank which you can get with 60 percentile. But you should rank between 25-28k.

what can we do if the paper is not given according to the blue print given by board

Ayush Anand 30th May, 2020

Hello ,

Don't worry paper in boards are always according to blue print , it very rarely happen that paper are not designed according to blue print.

Even then don't need to worry about how the paper is designed if you have read all the topics and chapter carefully , so it is not going to be tough for you . Because questions asked in board are either easy or medium , very few questions belong to difficult cateogry . So you should focus on your preparation rather than having concerning about what if paper not designed according to blue print .

Sir I have passed 12th Rbse board by 55% so which government engineering college I have eligible??

S. Saha Student Expert 9th Jul, 2020
There are less chances that you'll get any government engineering college as admission to government colleges are done through entrance exam, be it state level or national level. But you may get private colleges which offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in 12th and without any entrance exam. Some universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission, like Nirma University Jaipur, BITS Pilani you can appear for these exams to get admission in these colleges. http://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-private-engineering-colleges-in-rajasthan
Government engineering colleges of Rajasthan like University College of Engineering and Technology, Bikaner, College of Technology and Engineering, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Government Engineering College, Ajmer, MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur and http://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-government-engineering-colleges-in-rajasthan offer admission through Jee Main or Rajasthan Pre engineering Test.

if i gave 12th from nios board in 2019 in october and result came in december ,will jee 2020 be considered as my 1st year attempt or second year attempt

NILUTPOL Student Expert 30th May, 2020
Hello,
You get three consecutive attempts for JEE mains and two consecutive attempts for JEE advanced. The first attempt for both is the year you appear for your 12 th boards. As you have appeared for your 12 boards in 2019 and your boards results were declared after the month of June, that is December 2019. So 2020 will be counted as your first attempt for JEE mains and JEE advanced.
You will be eligible for JEE mains in 2021 and 2022. And for JEE advanced, you will be eligible for 2021.

Hope it helps

does nios mention in their 12th board certificate any sort of information that states that i m failed from 12th cbse and that this certificate was an improvement exam

Pankhuri Kumari 30th May, 2020

Hii!

You don't need to worry on this problem. There is no mention as such in the marksheets of students issued by NIOS, that he/ she failed CBSE class 12th and this is an improvement exam result. You get a normal marksheet and result as other students do. So, don't worry.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!
