Is NIOS board real or fake, if real can we get admission in MBBS through it without wasting a year.

S. Saha Student Expert 28th May, 2020
NIOS is the largest open school in India and it is also recognized by Central Government and approved by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD). So, yes it is 100% valid. Adding to this, NIOS students can also appear for NEET Examination in order to get admission in MBBS program.

as I know to calculate my 60: 40 of board and gujcet percentile so it form ** out of 100 but how to calculate my rank for admission in acpc process

Soumili Majumdar 27th May, 2020
Hello there,
The 'rank vs percentile' for acpc cannot be calculated since it keeps on changing every year, depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the no.of students appearing for it. Analysing previous year data, it can be said that 95+ percentile can fetch you a rank around 1000 to 2000. You will have to wait till the Rank List is officially released.
You can use our rank predictor. The link is given below:

Yes you will get admission in DU but mainly in South Campus.

As you have reservation then you have better chance of availing a college in DU.

If not in the first cut off , you will get admission in 4th or 5th cutoff.

Just wait till last cut off!

Thankyou!

my board 12th marks is less than 75%, I will chance to admission in IIT/NIT/IIIT By jee mains 2020 . How much required cut off 2020 according to Experts...

Sharon Rose Student Expert 5th Jul, 2020

Hello,

Candidates belonging to general category must have passed 10+2 with 75% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and for SC/ST it is 65% marks to get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs. If you belong to general category then you are not eligible to get admission in IITs/NIT/IIITs if you ave scored less than 75% marks in 10+2. Admission NITs and IIITs is based based on merit in JEE Main and admission in IITs is based on merit in JEE Advanced. Candidates who qualify in JEE Main will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced.  If you are asking JEE Main cut off then it changes every years depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam, number of seats available etc. In 2019 the cut off was as follows each category

  • General: 89.75
  • EWS: 78.12
  • OBC-NCL: 74.31
  • SC: 54.01
  • ST: 44.33
  • PWD: 0.1137

I have got 55% in state board Gujrat. How much should be the Marks in GujceT to get admission in computer Engg. in a good college as 40% of GUJceT marks is considered.? suggest some good Comp Engg college of Gujrat ?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 26th May, 2020
Hello,

See the weightage of board marks is 60% because the the divided percentage is 60:40, so it's obvious that more value is given to board marks. However you cannot do anything now foe your board marks so now focus more on GUJCET examination and try to get 110 marks atleast for getting CSE in any good college.

I hope this helps.

When would the 12th Maharahstra state board 2020 exam be conducted? Would it be in July or August or October?

Hrisheekesh Singh 26th May, 2020

Hi student,

Now, the whole India is fighting to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the boards have some exams pending also. So, the results will be announced after the copies getting checked but the teachers are even not able to receive the board answersheets to check due to this lockdown.

The MP board is also suffering similar situation, so wait till India contain this pandemic and hope for everything restoring back to normal.

hi,

see you can enroll in nios, that is national institute of open schooling to study biology as an additional subject, since nios studies does not need regular attendance like regular institute , you may pursue it while you are studying in your 10+2 course. to appear in neet ug exam, you must have studied biology as a subject in your 10+2 course and must have passed biology along with 12th course.

my overall marks in board is 60%. individually I passed all sub but individually not 50 mark in each pcb but I from obc cat. and gujarat board phy the+pra 39+41 ,bio the +prac 68+36 and che the+prac 41+41 am I eligible for neet 2020 and its counseling?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th May, 2020
You needn't score 50% or 40% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If you belong to OBC, you shpuld score 40% on average in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be eligible for NEET. With your marks, you will be eligible for NEET 2020. So nothing to be worried about.
