priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th May, 2020
There is no upper age limit for NEET and now NIOS students are also eligible for NEET. As long as you complete your 13th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and score a minimum aggregatr of 50%, you are eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.

If I scored 67 percentile in Gujrat board and 85 %in gujcat then what should be my rank

Sohamsengupta8 13th Jun, 2020

Hello student,

Actually it is quite difficult to tell about the rank with the percentile only. The percentage scored is completely depend upon the Marks you have secured and the number of candidates also. So in general the approximate rank with this percentile of 67 is is near about 23000.

Hope this will help you.

if i not secured 75 percent marks in class 12 board, then can i not take admission in BITSAT.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th May, 2020
Hi

As per the eligibility criteria of BITSAT Examination to be eligible,
You must get at least an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in your class 12th board examination, and also should have got at least 60% individually in each of PHYSICS, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics.

So, if you don't get 75% in aggregate as mentioned above then you fail to fulfill its criteria and then you cannot appear for BITSAT examination.

I have get 51% in gseb board and i have grace marks in chemistry . I get minimum percentage in board because in 12th science i am fully hospital situation. If i get 115 marks in gujcet exam ,so can i get admission in government engineering college in cs or IT branch? I am come in OBC category.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 24th Jun, 2020
Hello,

So, the admission process includes consideration of both boards and GUJCET. All the colleges acceptsadmission, on merit rule of 60:40.
60% weightage is given to 10+2 marks and 40% to the marks scored in GUJCET, and then the merit list is prepared. As you can see that 12th marks has more weightage and your marks are extremely low.
However if you can score 115 in GUJCET then it will be good but still it wont help you to fetch a government college.Although you can get into other good colleges and even if you will get government college then the branch will be the least preferred ones.

I hope this helps.

How does a student select the school board. They should opt for CBSE, IB, State boards or ICSE board?

Yash Dev Student Expert 14th May, 2020

Hello Mona all the board of education are almost same at their respective place, I believe instead of considering board you should consider the school academic faculties, facilities records and on that basis you should take admission in any school because board has nothing to do with schools on a regular basis its the school administration who manages everything so if you consider board it's not guaranteed that if it's from a particular board then it's a good school. You should check yourself following things before taking admission intonany school - 1)student teacher ratio

2)Sports facilities

3)Faculties

4)Lab facilities .

5)Transportation

6)previous year academic records

Usually students and parents prefer CBSE schools over state board and ICSE board because CBSE curriculum is on pattern which will not help you only in your schools but also in preparation of competitive entrance examination.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

Good luck

I got 85 percentile in jee main. i m bc category and my board is CBSC tamilnadu.. will i get psg or ssn college?

Soumili Majumdar 13th May, 2020
Hello there,
85 percentile in JEE mains is quite good. For getting admission in PSG or SSN, one needs to get atleast 85 percentile (for general category). Being obc category will help you more. I guess you will get admission. Try for both and hope for the best.
Good luck!!
