sir, i passed 12th with(state board) 66% and pcb with 58%. But in chemistry passed with 36 marks (theory+practical) can i eligible for neet. Please reply me.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th May, 2020
Hi

No , you are not eligible for neet examination .
This is because,
You have got only 36 marks in total of theory+ practical in your Chemistry ,
it means you have failed in your theory examination of chemistry , but to be eligible for neet examination one needs to pass is theory examination and practical Examination separately and needs to get at least a minimum of 50% marks(practical+theory) taken together in PCB in your class 12th board examination if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories .

So you are not eligible for neet examination as you have failed in you theory examination of chemistry

sir i got 969/1000 marks in intermediate from Anhra Pradesh board . Can i get seat in SASTRA University btech Computer science 2020 or Plz suggest me any other good colleges that i can prefer with this score.? and i got 89.2 percentile in JEE january 2020

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 20th Jun, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes  every year and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc. now sastra admission process of stream  1 mode is based on 12th score and jee main score, by using stream 1 mode 70% seats are filled, in stream 1 mode 75% weightage is given to 12th score and 25% weightage is given to jee main score, however till now jee main april session exam is yet to held, once thee xam has done, if number of participants increased this time it would have effect on your current score. however at this score you have fair chances. so lets see whats come around.

I got 812 marks out of 1000 in intermediate telangana board . fist year - 462 , 2nd year - 360 Im I eligible for Nits, IITS . ?? 75% minimum eligible full filled or not??

Anurag Khanna 20th Jun, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

If you are going to appear for JEE-Main or JEE-Advance than you should keep in mind that you have to score above or equal to 75% in you 10+2 i.e. only 12th. So according to the data given by you you have scored 360 marks out of 500 in 10+2 according to which you have secured 72% which makes you ineligible for JEE-Main.

But note that if you have secured your position in top 20 percentile of your state board results than also you are eligible for JEE-Main.

You can get complete details on eligibility of JEE-Main from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

do I get seat in sastra institute of technology, tanjavur.i got 956/1000 in board examination of A.P

S. Saha Student Expert 18th Jun, 2020

If you are applying through Stream 2 i.e. for 30% seats in Sastra University which is totally based on 10+2 score, then you have average chances of getting into Sastra University. You may not get CSE, can expect core branches as the cutoffs for CSE are too high.

Your All India rank is approximately 24679 going by the formula 100-97.16*869010/100 wherein 97.16 is your percentile and 869010 is the no.of Candidates who appeared for January session. Recently I got the message of Bombay High Court as per the 2020 ICSE examination. I have an average of 65% marks in pre board examination. So what option should I choose to sit for the examination or to follow the second option of sending pre board marks.

Shubham Dhane 16th Jun, 2020

Hello,

It depends on your future plans of higher studies. If you are taking admission in a college which take admission based on merit in 10+2 then this percentage will not be enough but if you are interested in a course which gives admission based on merit in entrance exam you don't need to appear but you must have minimum percentage to full fill the eligibility criteria you need to check that also. If you have enough percentage then you can go for pre board marks but if you require higher percentage then you need to appear in the exam. Consider the situation around you too.
