In general, admission in BSc is on the basis of marks obtained by you in your class 12th board examination but yes there are some college universities which conduct entrance examination for providing admission.
For example ,
BHU offers admission in BSc etc through its own entrance examination called BHU UET.

CSIR NET Exam is conducted only for Science stream candidates.CSIR NET has 3 parts, part a contains general aptitude, part b and c contains the subject opted by the student.
CSIR NET includes 5 subjects, they are:
1.Life science
2.Earth science
3.physical science

5.chemical science
You can choose life science subject as it is related to botany, zoology, microbiology etc...

As per the information bulletin 2021 BHU PET, in order to pursue MSc Zoology candidates need to pass Hons in the specific subject or should have studied the subject in all the three years of graduation, and in addition to this, candidates are also required to have studied chemistry as one of the subject at graduation level, hence if you don't fulfill the eligibility criteria then you cannot seek admission in BHU, you have to look out for other options regarding this,

As you have done biology physics and chemistry in your +2 then that's very good as you have ample of options to do further.
See basically botany and zoology are vast biological branches. Botany deals entirely with the study of plants, while Zoology deals with animal studies.
So here you have to decide that during your 11 and 12 in which domain you were having more interest. Go according to that as both are best at their place.
