i am doing bsc on zoology and have botany as my pass course. Is it mandatory to have chemistry to get into bhu for msc zoology????????

pdwords Student Expert 15th Jan, 2022

Hello,

As per the information bulletin 2021 BHU PET, in order to pursue MSc Zoology candidates need to pass Hons in the specific subject or should have studied the subject in all the three years of graduation, and in addition to this, candidates are also required to have studied chemistry as one of the subject at graduation level, hence if you don't fulfill the eligibility criteria then you cannot seek admission in BHU, you have to look out for other options regarding this,

you can check out at https://bhuet.nta.nic.in/WebInfocms/File/GetFile?FileId=2&LangId=P of page number 26 to know more details for the same.

Bsc Botany vs Bsc Zoology which one is best ....?????or which is the best bsc course is best for bipc students after intermediate ...???

Ayush Maurya 4th Dec, 2021

Hey there

As you have done biology physics and chemistry in your +2 then that's very good as you have ample of options to do further.

See basically botany and zoology are vast biological branches. Botany deals entirely with the study of plants, while Zoology deals with animal studies.

So here you have to decide that during your 11 and 12 in which domain you were having more interest. Go according to that as both are best at their place.

All the best!

Thank you!
