The entrance exam for M.Sc in allahabad University is Allahabad University PGAT.
Allahabad University PGAT is state level exam conducted by University of Allahabad to provide admissions to various postgraduate courses.
There are 2 papers:
Paper 1 - Held in online mode as well as offline mode
Paper 2 - Held online only.
Application form date- 12 april - 03 may 2020
Exam date :
Paper I - 20 – 22 may , 2020
Paper II - 29 May – 5 june , 2020
Result declaration - 15 june 2020

As per the exam pattern of AMU for M.Sc zoology, Botany, The Exam will have total 80 questions in which 70 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice) - 140 marks and 10 Short Answer Type Questions - 60 marks with the duration of 2 hours.
For M.Sc Biotechnology- There shall be one objective type paper questions on Chemistry,Botany, Zoology & Elementary Mathematics with the duration of 2 hours.
Total Marks- 100 (one mark each)

Hello dear student !
BHU is one of the renowned universities in India. In order to be eligible for MSc. in agriculture in BHU, you need to qualify a 4 year bsc. In agriculture degree or equivalent degree such as horticulture. So if you have done BSc. in Botany , you are NOT eligible for MSc. in agriculture in BHU. Meanwhile, you can apply for other MSc. Courses in BHU such as MSc. in Botany.

JNU, Delhi offers only MSc Life Science, Admission is via JNUEE. However, if you're asking about Jaipur National University, Jaipur then it offers MSc in Botany only.This is based on the merit of qualifying examination followed by Interview.
Dr. William Roxburgh, the scottish surgeon and botanist who worked extensively in india was the father of indian botany for his works on economic botany.
There is no particular syllabus pattern that is prescribed by the university for M.Sc Botany entrance examination. Questions are divided in some sections such as General knowledge and Awareness, Botany and Zoology and Chemistry. Therefore, to be prepared for the exam, you should study all the portions that have been covered in B.Sc botany. Beside this, if possible you can also go through Biology and Chemistry NCERTs of 11 and 12th. Try to solve previous year question papers.
Jamia millia islamia doesn't provide msc course in zoology and botany honours. Amu offers msc courses in zoology and botany.
