Im BSc pass out student with zoology (Hons), botany and chemistry, can I apply?if yes ,what code apply for neet.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Dec, 2019
Hi
You need to choose code 6 as code 6 is for who have passed B.Sc. examination with not less than two subjects which includes Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry.
You are eligible for neet examination only if you have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

Steps you need to follow for filling neet application form are listed below "-

  • First of all you need to do registration
  • Then filling in the application of NEET 2020
  • Now you need to upload scanned images of the documents
  • Then NEET application fee payment
  • And finally printing of confirmation page.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 12th Dec, 2019

hi,

as you have passed 12th course in 2019, that means you did not complete b.sc first year till now,  your code will be code 2, code 2 states that the candidate need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized education board with pcb  as a core subject and need to qualify the aggregate marks . you also need to have english as a subject in 10+2 course.

the qualifying marks criteria for general category is 50% marks in pcb in aggeregate, for sc/st/obc it is 40%, for pwd it is 45%.

provide the syllabus for msc botany entrance exam

Abhishek Masand 22nd Dec, 2019

Hii,

The most common way of getting into this course is through direct entry. In this a merit list is prepared on the basis of your score in U.G program and then the selection is done accordingly. Also, some college conduct their own entrance exams for taking admissions.

Some of the top entrance exams for M.Sc. in Botany are:

1) BHU post graduate entrance test- Conducted by Banaras Hindu University every year in the month of may. The syllabus for this exam is zoology, chemistry and biology.

2) Joint Entrance Test- Conducted by University of Rajasthan every in year in June. The syllabus incudes zoology, biology and chemistry.

3) SVUCET- This stands for Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test held in the month of June every year. In this questions comes from zoology, biology and chemistry only.

Hope this helps.

All the best!!

I failed in bsc 1st year chemistry botany zoology can I appear for neet 2020 what eligibility code should I use

Abinash Panigrahi 8th Dec, 2019

Hello Deeksha ;

Your eligiblity to give NEET doesn't depend on your marks that you've attained in your BSc course. Even though you've failed your BSc first year there's nothing to be worried about.

You can go to the NEET website and fill the form as per usual. Only there'll come a place where they would have asked you to provide qualification code. Just go with "05" as your qualification code and fill the whole form.

Hope this helps!
