Hello,
The B.Sc. course can be both 3 years and 4 years. In the 4-year duration program, you get the Honours program with the research option that provides deeper knowledge about this course. But in the 3-year duration you don't get these perks and facilities.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello
B.Sc courses have now become of 4 years because of the implementation of New Education Policy (NEP 2020). Earlier, a B.Sc degree was of only 3 years but now students have both the options i.e. complete all 4 years and get a B.Sc Honours degree or exit after 3rd year and get only a B.Sc degree.
So you basically have an exit option after 3rd year which you can use to complete the 3 year degree. The only difference between both is that after 3 years you will get a B.Sc degree while after 4 years, you will get a B.Sc Honours degree.
BSc is usually 3 years in most colleges. But under the NEP 2020 (New Education Policy) , many universities have started offering it as a 4-year course .
If you complete 3 years, you get a regular BSc degree.
If you complete 4 years, you get a BSc (Hons/Research) degree, which is helpful for higher studies and research.
So now both options are available, depending on the university.
Hope it helps !

Hello Dear,
If you have applied for the B.Sc. Nursing course and could not download your rank card within the given timeline, don’t worry. This situation is common, and you still have a few possible solutions to recover your rank card and proceed with the admission process.
1. Visit the Official Website First, go back to the official exam or counselling portal from which the rank card was to be downloaded. Sometimes, even after the deadline, links are reactivated for a short period if there are many student requests. Keep checking daily updates and notices.
2. Check Candidate Login Section Use your application number, password, and date of birth to log in. Many portals allow students to re-download their rank cards multiple times until counselling ends. Explore the “Download Rank Card/Scorecard” option again carefully.
3. Contact Examination Authority If the portal does not allow access anymore, immediately reach out to the exam-conducting authority or counselling board. You can email them or call the helpline numbers provided on the official website. Clearly mention your application number, registered mobile/email ID, and details of the exam. They may reissue your rank card or provide a duplicate copy.
4. College/University Helpdesk If counselling is already going on, contact the college/university helpdesk directly. They may accept your application provisionally if you show payment receipts, admit cards, or other exam-related documents while you wait for your rank card reissue.
5. Keep Proofs Handy Always keep screenshots of your application form, admit card, and payment receipts. These documents will help authorities verify your claim quickly.
The most important step is to immediately inform the officials. Delay may reduce your chance to attend counselling.
Hope this helps you recover your rank card and continue your admission process smoothly.
