if my general merit is 6337 and category merit is 1299 in acpugmec for bsc nursing and i have not any category certificate like st sc ews i m eligible for gov college

Yes, you can be considered for government B.Sc Nursing colleges even without an SC/ST/EWS certificate, but your admission will be considered under the General category, not the reserved category.

Your General Merit Rank is 6,337 is therefore the important rank for you. The Category Merit Rank is 1,299 would not give you reservation unless you actually belong to and can produce the required category certificate. ACPUGMEC conducts admission based on merit and publishes separate category merit lists.

However, whether you will actually get a government B.Sc Nursing college cannot be confirmed from rank alone. It depends on the 2026 seat matrix, your gender, choices filled and the closing rank in each counselling round. For 2026–27, ACPUGMEC has published the list of government B.Sc Nursing institutes and is conducting the counselling process.
