Shambhavi shambhavi 30th Dec, 2024

If you attempted 133 questions in the BSc Nursing entrance exam, and 40 were wrong, the negative marking will reduce your total score. The exact impact of the negative marks depends on the exam's marking scheme. Typically, for each incorrect answer, a fraction of the marks (usually 0.25 or 0.5) is deducted. To estimate your final score, refer to the exam pattern and scoring rules provided by the exam authorities.

can i do mca after bsc food technology ?

Radhika Goyal 28th Jul, 2024

Hy,

Yes, you can pursue a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) after completing a B.Sc. in Food Technology. While a B.Sc. in Food Technology is not a traditional background for an MCA, many institutions offer flexibility in their admission requirements.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree : Typically, you need a Bachelor’s degree in any field to be eligible for an MCA program. A B.Sc. in Food Technology meets this basic criterion.
  • Mathematics Requirement : Many MCA programs require that you have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level or during your undergraduate studies. If your B.Sc. in Food Technology includes Mathematics or if you studied it at a higher secondary level, you should meet this requirement.

Institution-Specific Criteria

  • Different Universities : Admission criteria can vary between institutions. Some universities or colleges may have specific requirements or may conduct entrance exams for admission into their MCA programs.
  • Entrance Exams : Many MCA programs require you to pass an entrance exam, such as the NIMCET (National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test), state-level or university-level entrance tests.

i have 284 marks belong to rajasthan EWS can i take admission in BSC nursing or BHMS or BAMS in all india college

kumardurgesh1802 12th Nov, 2024

Hello there,

With a score of 284 in NEET and belonging to the EWS category from Rajasthan, you have a fair chance for admission in B.Sc. Nursing and possibly BHMS or BAMS programs in private and semi-government colleges.

For B.Sc. Nursing , many private colleges accept students with lower NEET scores, and some institutions also conduct direct admissions based on 12th-grade marks, depending on state regulations. Your score might qualify you for semi-government or private institutions in states that have an open category for nursing courses.

For BHMS (Homeopathy) and BAMS (Ayurveda) , admissions are more competitive, and government colleges might be challenging with 284 marks, even with EWS reservation. However, you could explore private colleges across states, where cutoffs are generally lower than government institutions. Rajasthan and other nearby states may have private BHMS and BAMS colleges open to all-India applicants.

It’s best to participate in both the AIQ counseling and state counseling rounds to maximize your options.
