i have 284 marks belong to rajasthan EWS can i take admission in BSC nursing or BHMS or BAMS in all india college

kumardurgesh1802 12th Nov, 2024

Hello there,

With a score of 284 in NEET and belonging to the EWS category from Rajasthan, you have a fair chance for admission in B.Sc. Nursing and possibly BHMS or BAMS programs in private and semi-government colleges.

For B.Sc. Nursing , many private colleges accept students with lower NEET scores, and some institutions also conduct direct admissions based on 12th-grade marks, depending on state regulations. Your score might qualify you for semi-government or private institutions in states that have an open category for nursing courses.

For BHMS (Homeopathy) and BAMS (Ayurveda) , admissions are more competitive, and government colleges might be challenging with 284 marks, even with EWS reservation. However, you could explore private colleges across states, where cutoffs are generally lower than government institutions. Rajasthan and other nearby states may have private BHMS and BAMS colleges open to all-India applicants.

It’s best to participate in both the AIQ counseling and state counseling rounds to maximize your options.

i complete my school studies. i am biomaths student .i have one doubt btec biotechnology or bsc biotechnology which is best . which has high scope

Nitin Kumar 6th Jun, 2024

Both B.Sc. Biotechnology and B.Tech. Biotechnology are good options for a biomaths student interested in the field, but they have some key differences

B.Sc. Biotechnology (3 years):

  • Focuses on the fundamental biological principles behind biotechnology applications.

  • Strong emphasis on theory and understanding biological processes.

  • Courses include biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology, genetic engineering.

  • Ideal for students who want a strong foundation in the scientific aspects of biotechnology and potentially pursue research or academics.

    B.Tech. Biotechnology (4 years):
    • Leverages  engineering principles along with biology for practical applications.

    • Includes more math, physics, and engineering courses alongside core biotechnology subjects.

    • Focuses on designing, developing, and implementing biotechnological processes.

    • Ideal for students who are hands-on and interested in the industrial applications of biotechnology.

      I hope it helps!

I am sc category girl score 333 uttar pardesh domecile rank 529926 2024 I want govt college courses can BSC nursing mbbs or bds in India

Shambhavi shambhavi 30th Dec, 2024

With a score of 333 and Uttar Pradesh domicile, your chances of getting a seat in a government college depend on factors such as the cutoff for the year, category, and specific course. Since you're from the SC category, you may have a better chance of securing a seat in government colleges with reserved quotas, but it will depend on the rank and cutoff for each course.

I am sc category girl score 333 and I have uttar pradesh domecile.all india rank is 529926 2024 I want govt college any were in India course BDS or mbbs and bsc nursing can I get it can you provide me all college I can gei in councelling. pls help me others wise I have to dei

Nikita shahi 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello,

With 333 marks (SC category), MBBS in a government college is nearly impossible since SC cut-off also goes above 450+ marks in most states. For BDS in government colleges, the cut-off usually stays above 370–400 marks for SC, so again it looks difficult. However, you do have chances in private BDS colleges under the SC quota, where cut-offs are lower. For B.Sc Nursing, the cut-off is more flexible, and you may get a seat in some government colleges since nursing cut-offs are not as high as MBBS/BDS.

Im just 12 th passed with science stream I want to do bsc in defence And strategiec studies subject it possible???

Radhika Goyal 28th Jul, 2024

Hy,

Pursuing a B.Sc. in Defense and Strategic Studies after completing your 12th grade with a science stream is generally feasible, but the availability of such programs and specific entry requirements can vary depending on the institution.

A B.Sc. in Defense and Strategic Studies is an interdisciplinary program that combines elements of military studies, defense management, and strategic analysis. It typically covers topics such as national security, defense policy, military history, and strategic planning.

General Requirements:

  • Educational Background : You need to have completed your 12th grade with a science stream. Most programs require a high school diploma with a background in science or social sciences.
  • Subjects Required : While a science background is acceptable, some institutions may prefer or require subjects related to social sciences or humanities.

Specific Institution Requirements:

  • Entrance Exams : Some universities may require you to pass an entrance exam or interview. These exams may test general knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of current affairs.
  • Cut-off Marks : Check for minimum academic performance requirements or cut-off marks specified by the institution.

Institutions Offering B.Sc. in Defense and Strategic Studies:

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) : offers a program in defense and strategic studies. While JNU mainly offers postgraduate programs, it also has undergraduate courses related to the subject.
  • Panjab University : offers courses in defense and strategic studies.
  • University of Madras : Provides programs related to strategic studies, though specific undergraduate programs might need confirmation.
