Sorry to say it's not valid  and you need to get your reservation certificate updated. The CAT at the time of registration ask about the reservation of the students and thy are even required to submit their category certificate  at the time of form submission.

If it's expired I will suggest you to get it updated from your nearest block office  as soon as possible in order to avoid any kind of problem in the end or at the time of form filling.

Admission Are Based on Merit and Minimum 50% Marks in Graduation Or post-graduation Is Required. There are many institute which offers direct admission in BEd. The candidate should have passed the bachelor and master's degree in Science/Arts/Commerce/Social Science from a recognized university/board. Once again dear I am insisting you not to worry for such issue because nobody id going to reject your admission just on the basis of lamination of your documents.

In your some earlier question I have already cleared you that nobody can reject you on the basis of lamination of your documents. So, don't get tensed from such rumors because the issue you are facing is not going to create you any problem, the reason being that nobody can reject the laminated marksheets or certificates because generally these are kept for lifetime and without proper lamination it might get damaged, so lamination is necessary and there is no any rule till now which prohibits the use of laminated marksheets/certificates so don't worry , you are not going to be rejected anywhere due to such laminations. If still any institutions denies the fact then either there might have any other rule which can be easily implemented on everybody or it will be considered as illegal way of rejecting candidates, so you may take legal help also is such issue happens with you.

So just remove this tension from your mind and be happy, what matters is marks recorded on your marksheets and other data on documents.

However I would suggest to apply for m.tech bio technology course since it is quite popular now and governments and private organizations are funding for biotechnology based research. based on previous years score analysis you have good chances for nit durgapur biotechnology stream.

see this year for the first time b.sc candidates of three years duration, was eligible to appear in gate exam. since there is no record of masters admission data based on gate score we are unable to predict any college. however based on gate score you may apply for integrated phd, gate score is valid for three years, you may now join masters course and after two years may take admission for phd based on gate score.

1) Prepare subjects according to your Strongest, Good, Weak knowledge/interest and divide time accordingly. Take CHEMISTRY as a savior.

2) Practice questions based on Advanced pattern and  previous year JEE     Advanced  paper and analyse them in detail.

see in case you did not finally submit the application form you may edit it, unless if fees payment is not done, I would suggest to apply in a fresh application. however it would be best to conduct with college authority or contact via email or call and clarify your concern.
