450 score, obc cat, MD anaesthesia, low budget college, good govt/ Pvt college, any chance??

Suchana Datta 19th Sep, 2021

Hi,

To get a government seat one must score above 525. With 450 you can get in to a private college. As your NEET score is 450. Your Overall Percentile is:    93.39 - 93.89 and when it comes to rank, your Predicted Rank is:89930 - 107080 .  Also depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota  and 85% state quota seats in government colleges.

As per the last year result of NEET UG ,General category aspirants need minimum 147 marks (50 percentile). On the other hand General-PH(129 Marks 45 percentile) and SC/OBC/ST requires 113 marks (40 percentile).

Hope this helps

Wish you luck

I am going to get 360 in NEET 2021. My budget doesnt allow me to go beyond 30 lakh. I want to do MBBS. Can I get admission in Gujarat? If not, where?

Aniket Das 19th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors.  with 420-428 marks in neet and as you didn't mentioned your category it is very difficult to predict but you have low chance to get a seat in Gujrat college.

i got about 500 marks in neet 2021 can i get any govt college?? Or any college of low budget?

pdwords Student Expert 13th Sep, 2021

Hello,

Which category do you belong to? You haven't mentioned it, nevertheless from your profile it seems you belong to Rajasthan which is one of the state with pretty high cut-offs in NEET, and in case you belong to UR/EWS category then chances are quite tough because if we go through 2019 cut-offs then 580 marks secured GMC Barmar/Churu/Bharatpur  for UR, and 590 marks secured GMC Dungarpur for EWS, you may have chances for government seats in private colleges, however this is completely based on previous year data, and cut-offs are subjected to change every year based on top scores obtained in the exam/toughness level of the paper/seat matrix/total number of candidates appeaing for the exam etc, go through previous year cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-rajasthan, explore more detailed information about your possibilities regarding admission by using our NEET College Predictor at https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Iam from Odisha. which other states are open for me in private management quota MBBS with less fee. I will secure 535 in neet2021. Shall I get a mbbs seat in private medical colleges in Odisha. Which other state shall I choose to get a mbbs seat with low budget say around 50 lakhs. please guide

Abhishek Roy 16th Oct, 2021

Assuming youre from General Category, With a Score of 535/720 You have fair chances of securing a MBBS Seat in some of the good Medical Colleges in Karnataka under Private/Management Quota under COMEDK Medical Counselling. You may have chances in securing IMS SUM as well as KIMS Bhubaneshwar. Another good option can be KMC Manipal, where you have high chances, though the fees is on the higher side and is around 60 Lakhs.

I believe you may even have low to moderate chances in securing a seat in some of the Good state Medical Colleges in Odisha like MKCG Medical College Berhampur, VSSIMSR Burla, Medical College & Hospital Baripada, SLNMCH Koraput and many others.

suggest me some medical colleges (MBBS) private all over India, My budget is 24-26 lakh. My neet score is 490

Ayush Roy 30th Sep, 2021

I  hope you are doing good. You mentioned your expected score is 490 out of 720. Based on this marks, your overall percentile ends up around 92.82 - 93.32 and your AIR may end up somewhere around 108736 - 140886 considering difficulty of the paper to be moderate. I assume you belong to General category as you didn't mention anything  about your caste in the question.

The budget which you mentioned is not enough to pay for most of the Private medical colleges for MBBS., although you can opt for BDS as it will fit in your mentioned budget quite easily. You may get chance at the following institutes for BDS:

  1. Yenepoya Dental College And Hospital, Mangalore
  2. Amrita School Of Dentistry, Kochi
  3. J.S.S. Dental College and Hospital, Mysore
  4. KLE Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum
  5. BVDU Dental College And Hospital, Navi Mumbai
  6. Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem

and few more...
