No doubt VIT is a good college, nit only in terms of placement but also in the lifestyle and freedom. If you are getting CSE in VIT or IT in VIT Vellore, I would suggest you to join (if fee is in your budget). Other than this, you can try Thapar College, Delhi Technical University, Punjab Engineering College, RV College of Engineering, Amity University( a bit expensive), UPES (if you get scholarship, otherwise it is also expensive).

These all above mentioned colleges are counted as the top reputed engineering colleges of India and mode of admission varies depending on the college.

Yes, you can get admission in bvsc without Neet examination.

This is because,

Other than NEET, there are a few States which conduct their their own state level entrance examination for admission in BVSc

For example,

• Rajasthan conducts its own  state level entrance examination for providing admission in bvsc i. e   RPVT   i. e Rajasthan University of Veterinary Sciences  . It is conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences , Bikaner. And through this examination, admission in 312 BVSc seats is provided across Rajasthan. One important thing to note is that,

The above state level entrance examinations are conducted for 85% state quota seats only while 15 % all india quota veterinary seats i. e BVSc seats,  is on the basis of Neet examination only through aipvt counselling. Moreover, as most of the states like Bihar, Maharashtra  etc accepts only neet even for state quota seats,so if you are domicile of these states then you cannot get admission  in BVSc without NEET exam but if you are from UP / Rajasthan etc then you can appear in state level entrance examination conducted by them in order to get admission without Neet examination
