Im getting 435 marks in neet exam. have any chance of low budget private medical college in West bengal, and karnatka.from general category

vishesh kumar 18th Sep, 2020

Hi,

I would like to tell you that the cutoffs for government medical colleges in West Bengal is generally low as the no. of aspirants are lesser than the available seats, so there are chances that you may get a lower government college in West Bengal with state quota for both MBBS as well as BDS courses. If you are unable to get a government college in the counselling, then I would like to tell you that the fees for private colleges starts from 10 lakhs per annum. So if you can afford the fees then go for it or else go for one year drop and appear for NEET 2021. All the best!!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. With a score of 350, your rank might be approximately between 181904-194475 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . You also haven't mentioned the State that you hold the domicile of. With this rank, a seat in MBBS is difficult in most of the States. But you might get a seat in Management Quota of Deemed Universities. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. With a score of 360, your rank might be approximately between 168240-180534 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at you have not mentioned the State that you hold the domicile of. Irresoectivve of that, with a score of 370 belonging to General Category, it is difficult for a Government Medical College and even in few States, it is difficult for a Govt. Quota seat in a Private Medical College. If you appear for All India Counselling, there are chances that you may get a seat under Management Quota in Deemed Universities. There are top Deemed Universities like KMC, HIMS, etc that participate in All India Counselling. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Please advise. My School is from Delhi and General Category. 1. If I have to apply for MBBS course in Individual colleges before release of NEET result. 2. I have budget of total 40-50 lakhs, which colleges fit in this budget.

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 2nd Aug, 2020
Hi , as per your query I would like to tell you that no you cannot apply for colleges before neet exam is done and results are out . Only after result has been declared you can go for admission in private medical colleges . You can apply u der management quota . Private and deemed colleges do not take part in all india counselling so you have to contact the State counseling for that .
Colleges have management seat for which you can apply under state counselling and the remaining seats are filled through contacting the college authority.
List of top 5 private medical colleges are
Christian Medical College, Vellore
Kasturba Medical College, Manipal
Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai
Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi
Ms Ramaiah medical college, Bangalore
Hope this helps

hi i m studying tybcom last sem from ahmedabad gujrat n i m confused what to do after bcom suggest me some low budget courses please which i can afford

Smeet Almeida 6th Jun, 2020
Greetings, aspirant!

There are many post graduate courses that you can pursue after your graduation. You can opt for an M.Com degree if a certain field grabs your attention in commerce and later on pursue a PhD in said field. With a teaching degree such as B.ed, you can become a professor as well.

If you wish to make a career in the corporate world, you can opt for an MBA as well. There are various fields in which you can specialize such as Finance, Human Resource management, Marketing etc. This course can land you some high profile job depending on the Institution you finish your MBA from.

If you wish to study a professional course, you can go for CA or CS as well. However, these courses may take longer to get over with and demand a lot of hardwork and dedication.

You can opt for a CFA or a CFP degree as well if you're interested in Financial analysis and planning. If risk management pique's your interest, you can go for FRM management as well.

Apart from these, there are also various globally recognised courses such as CMA, ACCA or CPA that can land you a job abroad.

If you're still confused as to what to do after graduation, you can click on the link below to learn more
